Buying a house allows for many individuals to really jump off in life. It should be something that is encouraged. Besides, it'll incentivize building more houses, which creates new jobs.

People may not be able too afford houses in general. If we focused on affordability in hoses, those kinds of prices and costs can increase over time, and being able to buy a house would become harder to do than just being able to buy a house.
