Should there be more restrictions on the current process of purchasing a gun?
No, and the government should pass a national “stand your ground” law
If we had more gun restrictions, you would not need to "stand your ground" when you are supposedly in a safe space

People will find guns, make guns, or end up having a gun or deadly weapon if they want it either way. same with drugs, people will find them either way. The best way is to have detailed documentation, and make it difficult or a lengthly process to get it. I think there is a huge lack in both of those factors based off of personal experience.

I agree, research suggests states with stronger gun safety laws consistently experience lower rates of gun-related deaths, including homicides and suicides. For instance, children and teenagers are reported to be half as likely to die by guns in states with the strongest laws compared to those with the weakest.
