You are a foreigner UNTIL you are vetted AND become a US citizen. Up to that time you are not a US citizen and cannot share in the benefits that the US can/will provide. In no other country can you vote as a foreigner. If you FIX how the US approves citizens and in a timely manner then this issue goes away but until that happens you are a foreigner with no rights.

If they are an illegal citizen, then they should not vote because then the election is swayed by non-U.S. citizens. If it takes years to finally be approved then find another way like a work visa and have the paperwork to show you can legally be here.

Illegals are inherently not citizens, they did not come here the right way. They should wait outside the country until accepted, if they are even accepted, which they have no right to be. If they live here they shouldn’t be voting, they should be deported.

There is a system for a reason. By allowing illegal citizens to vote there is no regulation on the authenticity of the voter and if they believe in the core values of our country. Additionally, it directly dilutes the value of legal citizen's votes.

They are not legal citizens of the United States, therefore they shouldn't be given the right to vote in American elections.

The idea of a nation is to have a group of people who are committed to that nation with a desire to preserve the culture, and identity of that nation. Not being a member of that nation should exclude one from participating in determining how that nation is run, because that person is not invested and has shown that they are willing to leave their "home" when things get tough.

Illegal immigrants have no right to vote in our country, especially if they have not paid taxes to the government. Coming to the United States the correct way is a different story, but when you illegally cross the boarder you should not be authorized to vote.

 @B9GZ7T8 from Missouri  disagreed…5mos5MO

Regardless of the fact it takes time, they should still wait until they are aprroved and should not vote until they are.

 @B9HYXJD from Rhode Island  disagreed…5mos5MO

Why should people who are not even US citezens be able to vote in the affairs of the country they dont even belong to.

 @B9HVSDM from Florida  disagreed…5mos5MO

But there is a legally and right way to come into the country. No other country allows people to just walk in to the land and be allow to vote and do things. The right way is to come in to the country legally, file to become a U.S citizen and wait it out.

 @B9K78K7 from Missouri  disagreed…4mos4MO

Illegal immigrants nation wide should be granted a 90 day grace period to leave the country. After 90 days they should get the death penalty. These people have demolished the welfare system in this country and ruined entire communities. I do not believe a collective group of people demolishing our country deserves to live in it. Leave it or die in it. Your choice.

if they are in teh process of citizenship but just waiuting and they are paying taxes and being an active menber of society they shouldbe able to vote

 @B9GXF5K from Indiana  agreed…5mos5MO

I believe that foreigners should have a log. Kinda like how you apply for unemployment. If they can show proof of attempting citizenship then they can vote.

 @B9JXR2H from Oklahoma  disagreed…4mos4MO

I don't think it would be best for foreigners to vote because what if they are just visiting or want to go back to the place they are originally from. They would not have to live with the consequences of the people they helped put in office.

 @B9JDVMDWomen’s Equality from Arizona  agreed…5mos5MO

I agree! Everyone is human and should have the same rights. Most people just want a better life and a chance to make positive changes.

 @B9K473C from California  disagreed…4mos4MO

no they should not be allowed to vote they are illegal, its like cutting in line, and typically they get paid to vote for a curtain side

 @B9HCGS6 from California  disagreed…5mos5MO

I believe that illegal citizens should NOT be able to vote, because they need to come the right way. Once they come in the right way I believe they should be encouraged to vote.
