If most of our government officials are yes-men to a president whose bread and butter is conflict of interest, how can we trust the logic and decision-making process of proprietary algorithms awarded contracts for financial benefit over merit and accuracy? We have seen what AI can and cannot do in driverless taxis, which already have government oversight at the municipal level and go through extensive testing.
