Not only does AI usage already impact many peoples lives negatively in frauds and scams, but it also damages a person's intellect over time once putting all their effort into a generative computer to think for them. While people should have the freedom to use technology, I don't believe that saying citizens should be allowed to use AI "any way they want" is appropriate when considering the protection of self efficacy and ensuring their continued education. Furthermore, it is widely known that AI is harmful against the environment and water resources to generate information from one prompt. I believe that there should be a higher standard that AI usage and users should be held to when covering the impact it has on the environment, and furthermore, should have a program that educates people about the effects of AI abuse and educate how to ethically use AI, reducing frauds, scams, and its affects of ones mental and intellectual health.
