Should the electoral college be abolished?
No, the electoral college ensures representation of the whole country instead of just major cities
It's very stupid
Representation of the entire country should be based on population, because the population of the USA includes everybody. It shouldn't be equally as each district gets one vote. The vote for the president is what the people want, and the people should be represented as each individual vote instead of one vote per district. Also, the fact that electoral college members can just choose to vote for the other party even if their district voted for one party is beyond stupid. This puts the power no longer in our hands but the hands of a few. They only get fined a small fine for it, which does not even put a dent in their money as they are rich.
