Minimum wage jobs are for entry level, young, and new-to-the-workforce people

If you raise the minimum wage, in addition to hiking prices everywhere (employers will have to raise the prices of goods and services to afford their inflated emplyee costs thus leading to inflation for consumers), you will also be removing opportunities for young workers who are just learning work ethic and basic skills.
