I think it should be stricter, 17 year olds are getting a hold of guns and killing. There are ways around it, it needs to be more stricter.

I don't think gun classes are completely necessary, but I do agree that those who possess guns need to go through an evaluation regardless of what their intended purpose is for their gun.

Yes. While it sucks for the people who aren't buying guns to harm other people, it only takes a few bad examples to ruin it for everyone. Normal people can go through a few extra steps to get their guns if it means the safety of thousands of people.

I totally agree with this. It makes sense that if people want to hunt for food, they should be allowed to, but guns are still really dangerous weapons. It’s kind of like getting a driver's license—you have to take classes and pass a test to show you can be responsible on the road. Having everyone go through evaluations and safety training just seems like a smart way to make sure people know what they’re doing and keep everyone else safe.

i think there is such a problem in this country with guns and we need to take the steps to towards deminishing the gun violence. doesnt matter about people who use guns to hunt.
