Pretty sure they already do. Project 2025 is the agenda funded by Christian Nationalists, they bought themselves a president.

 @B2RGBSCNo Labels from Florida  answered…1yr1Y

Yes, but prohibit any government union from donating to races of political bodies for which they work or receive a pension.

 @B2BP465Peace and Freedom from Florida  answered…1yr1Y

Each party should be allowed to spend the same amount so put a cap on it or they can only spend whatever the lowest either party collects. Example one collects 5 million one collects 8 million they can only spend 5 million rest should be donated to good causes agreed by both parties such as helping sick or hungry children or veterans that served our country.

i wish for any government to not exist. I am an anarchist, but if it continues to exist then absolutely not.

 @9SH5YVN  from Florida  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, but no more anonymous donations, any & all donations need to be publicly disclosed & easily tracked.

 @9RYF9YZConstitution from Florida  answered…2yrs2Y

No, public sector unions, NGOs and corporations that receive money or subsidies from the government souls be banned from funding politicians.

 @9D8JZSB from Florida  answered…3yrs3Y

No, political parties have become corrupt and care more about power than their constituents

 @9LSZVNT  from Florida  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, but only allow donations from unions and non-profits, and any conflict of interest is disqualifying.

 @9KQ65PH from Florida  answered…2yrs2Y

Unions should not be donating to political campaigns as the donations only reflect and small percentage of members intentions and are often quid pro quo.

 @9FHMR8S from Florida  answered…3yrs3Y

Politicians should represent the people NOT corporations…all lobbying should be outlawed. Gifts and bribes should be illegal.

 @9FH2FCY from Florida  answered…3yrs3Y

 @9DZ3J2B from Florida  answered…3yrs3Y

 @8D7BXFXIndependent from Florida  answered…6yrs6Y

Yes, but it has to be a limited amount, it has to be publicly disclosed, and it cannot turn into a bribe.

 @9C7GSC6 from Florida  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, but limit the amount they can donate and the donations should be public knowledge

 @9B5BV9ZConstitution from Florida  answered…3yrs3Y

Donations should be capped. Corporations would appear to be influence peddeling (although they usually donte to both in order to secure favors), and unions should not donate if their constituancy does not have a say in where, who, and how much.

 @99WPPX3 from Florida  answered…3yrs3Y

I think excessive donations lead to corruption in politics which I am strongly against

 @94TY9MM from Florida  answered…4yrs4Y

No. Only individual citizens should be able to donate, not businesses.

 @946H6QZ from Florida  answered…4yrs4Y

No its presents bias, Non profits and unions should not be allowed to donate

No, but allow non-profits to make political donations as long as they are not a funnel for corporate and special interests.

 @8YV4VM7Progressive from Florida  answered…4yrs4Y

I think this should be the same policy as the question mentioned earlier, essentially, just make the donations public knowledge so voters can draw their own conclusions about the relationships between the organizations and the political parties/candiadates.

 @8YBYBQS from Florida  answered…4yrs4Y

Corporations should not, nor should unions, however churches donating is no problem.

 @8WD3238Independent from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

No, political contributions should be made by individual citizens only

 @8RJHL3C from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8RFKRJJ from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

Corporations should be allowed to do what they want with earnings. Non-profits should not be allowed to support politicians- their revenue should directly fund their cause.

 @8QYJC77Libertarian from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, but they should make it public and it should not be viewed favorably since unions play a large role in destabilizing the job market

 @8Q8DDLF from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8Q7877NIndependent from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

Non-profits should not be able to as many of them have a foundation arm, which can do so on their behalf.

 @8PNGNYL from Florida  answered…6yrs6Y

No, corporations, unions and most non-profit organizations are in a sense governments themselves.

 @8P3BHQJ from Florida  answered…6yrs6Y

 @8NV5GGJIndependent from Florida  answered…6yrs6Y

Nobody should be donating to someone running for public office. They are basically being bought.

 @8LNPWV8Republican from Florida  answered…6yrs6Y

 @8JY9287 from Florida  answered…6yrs6Y

corporations should not be allowed to fund political adds but should be allowed to fund townhalls with economic questions to the candidates

 @8J8R978 from Florida  answered…6yrs6Y

Yes on corporations & non-profits; no on unions that is not their job

 @8D4YK9V from Florida  answered…6yrs6Y

Yes, but limit the allowable amounts and make all donations visible via an easily searchable public database.

 @6HQ4HQ5Republican from Florida  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes. To ban this would restrict freedom of speech, and violate the first amendment. However, this should be disclosed.

 @986QT5Z from Florida  answered…4yrs4Y

 @97SX4XH from Florida  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, and they should not be judged because of it, especially if it's a non-profit organization.

 @97LF46LPopulist from Florida  answered…4yrs4Y

 @97KK49B from Florida  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, as long as the corporation, union, or non-profit does not receive funding from the local, state, or federal government.
