it is very dependent on if its for good, if it is simply because a certain person wants it to be so people do not want to rally against him, then no.

 @B6K875Y from Arkansas  answered…4wks4W

They should stop spending insane amounts of money on stuff that has been priced higher since the government is paying for it. I would also like to see a public audit, showing all the spending the government does

 @B5CXV5J from Arkansas  answered…4mos4MO

it should decrease we need the money to pay off debts and produce materials in the u.s so that we can self sufficient also if we do import are out put goods we should put tariffs on some of the items so we can try to keep money in the u.s

 @B5B39FY from Arkansas  answered…4mos4MO

I believe company are over pricing equipment sold to the military so we should make them sell it to us at a fair price and our military funding should just stay the same.

 @B4M96T6 from Arkansas  answered…5mos5MO

The government should prioritize that the tax dollars are actually being used for what they are ment for and aren't being cut off the top

 @B3TGN6TRepublican from Arkansas  answered…6mos6MO

I am content with the military spending but if the need should arise then I would be fine with military spending increasing.

 @9ZKRZQP from Arkansas  answered…10mos10MO

It depends on how they are spending and what specific purposes there using it for and AS LONG ITS USED FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROTECTION and not being wasted

 @9Y8WP7XWomen’s Equality from Arkansas  answered…10mos10MO

they should increase because the military people are serving us and they need to be treated the rest of there life no matter if it was just a year they still did some

 @9Y3HXD7 from Arkansas  answered…10mos10MO

It depends on the way to world is working and if it doesn’t come from the Americans pockets and is used to better the lives of American residents

 @9XZHMVD from Arkansas  answered…10mos10MO

If critical we increase the spending, but if not critical we decrease a little bit more than previous spending.

 @9XXR27L from Arkansas  answered…10mos10MO

I believe it should increase and decrease as defense needs change, while also taking into account the state of the rest of our economy.

 @9XWRDYP from Arkansas  answered…10mos10MO

this depends on many many factors, for instance on problem or obstacle is/could be that with the decrease of military funding, and or spending, there is more money that can be but twords projects for citizens such as highways or roads being built, or more money going twords homless shelters, etc. however with the decrease of military spending/ funding there could be problems that also come from this such as unkept military vehicles, bases etc, and less weaponry/ people leaving the military because of loss of payments, or lower payments.

 @9WWWCRW from Arkansas  answered…11mos11MO

The military budget doesn’t need to increase, we need to bring our military home and focus on the protection and safety of our people here.

 @9WPHRHS from Arkansas  answered…11mos11MO

stop sending so much money to ukraine and other people and immigrants that arnt U.S. citzens and help our own country before using any more money on other countires.

 @9WLG6Q6Independent from Arkansas  answered…11mos11MO

Military spending needs to be regulated at a higher level of oversight to properly adjust spend rate to need.

 @9WJCWZ4 from Arkansas  answered…11mos11MO

Decrease, but it shouldn't mean less purchasing. The military industrial complex has inflated prices due to lack of oversight and kickbacks to government officials.

 @9WHY9D4 from Arkansas  answered…11mos11MO

only if we have to go to war or something big the us needs to use to get the military to have more funds like a bad thing

 @9WD9V5F from Arkansas  answered…11mos11MO

Increase. Nobody turns bad guys into baloney mist like the U.S. There's a reason why Uncle Sam is the undisputed king of putting warheads on foreheads with same-day shipping.

 @9VSR5C7 from Arkansas  answered…11mos11MO

 @9VS9HCGProgressive from Arkansas  answered…11mos11MO

I do not mind military spending however I wish that we didn't have to be involved in wars frequently.

 @9VNZGCM from Arkansas  answered…11mos11MO

They should remove the part where you have to spend everything to get a similar amount of money next year, that way costs aren't inflated to meet those requirements.

 @9VB5NSB from Arkansas  answered…12mos12MO

Military spending should be evaluated based on the specific needs of national security and the economy.

 @9V6PRSF from Arkansas  answered…12mos12MO

I think the government should have it to where the military doesn't have like no money but should have a little bit more than enough

 @9TYV2RG from Arkansas  answered…12mos12MO

I think a decrease would be ok as long as it’s gradual and doesn’t drastically compromise national security.

 @9TV2N8JNo Labels from Arkansas  answered…12mos12MO

Does our military really need all the money? Is it uselessly being spend? How's it being spent? How do we know this money is being spent properly?

 @9TPC996 from Arkansas  answered…12mos12MO

Keep the same but raise the pay and benefits for military and veterans. They serve our country and should not die for minium wage jobs and a country that does not truly appreciate them.

 @9T5X4TR from Arkansas  answered…1yr1Y

Decrease, and audit defense contractors, and eliminate negative consequences of not spending a full annual budget

 @9T5FGXLIndependent from Arkansas  answered…1yr1Y

I say it should stay the same no change because right now its perfectly fine and I think the money is supplying them with enough weapons.

 @9SHTWX9 from Arkansas  answered…1yr1Y

Decrease, America already has the most advanced military on earth and it would greatly help the rest of USA to put some of that money towards other things

 @9SGB345Progressive from Arkansas  answered…1yr1Y

Personally, as someone who is serving currently, I think we should take the funding that we have and make our current situations better instead of trying to make something new all the time the quality of life in the military is poor

 @9S9C7Q2 from Arkansas  answered…1yr1Y

The problem is sleepy joe, when trump was in office he cut military spending more than in half by just being a good business man the democrats do not know how to run a country

 @9RQSBH9 from Arkansas  answered…1yr1Y

Neither necessarily--Allow qualified individuals to make proposals to congress about national security spending based on plausible current and future threats.

 @9RKSKNP from Arkansas  answered…1yr1Y

War only leads to the end of the human race. or a big reset of the government. It should only go into protecting this country.

 @9PTZCQ3 from Arkansas  answered…1yr1Y

Spending should be regulated, limited or increased, and distributed according to elected officials in conjunction with military advisors.

 @9MGWHPQ from Arkansas  answered…1yr1Y

I’m at convinced there is corruption in the current military spending budget, either from contractors overcharging or waste. If we do a complete audit of military spending, we could do more with a smaller budget.

 @9M56D7M from Arkansas  answered…1yr1Y

The government should increase military spending so that our military is up to the same (preferably more) strength and technology of the strongest militaries in the world.

 @9LZ8FLKRepublican from Arkansas  answered…1yr1Y

Decrease, but not too much. The budget we have for the military is the reason we are one of the best militaries in the world.

 @9LNSFNB from Arkansas  answered…1yr1Y

Depends on what we are supporting. Question is not just whether we should increase or decrease but where we increase where we decrease -all should be for global peace

 @9L4M45L from Arkansas  answered…1yr1Y

I think it should fluctuate between higher and lower spending every couple of years so that way they still get their funding but it isn't a constant thing that can be wasted.

 @9KQPFKH from Arkansas  answered…2yrs2Y

I don't think the public is ever fully informed enough to make and informed decision on this or the above question

 @9KFT2D8 from Arkansas  answered…2yrs2Y

I dont even believe war should exist, why cant we be civil and just talk it out instead of killing each other?

 @9K6TN44 from Arkansas  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes , the government should focus more on spending for improving our society rather than other countries

 @9JTWZ5N from Arkansas  answered…2yrs2Y

Neither, stop the practice of fully funding all projects from their beginning, require projects that go past deadlines to be reassessed for viability, and use funds to improve pay and living standards of military service members so they are not living in poverty.

 @9J65GLB from Arkansas  answered…2yrs2Y

Decreased, however, I'm not opposed to increasing military spending once the Department of Defense is able to pass an audit considering they have never passed one since DoD auditing began in 2018. A lack of proper auditing demonstrates the danger and potential of waste, fraud, and abuse of tax payer money.

 @9J2K8R3 from Arkansas  answered…2yrs2Y

I want a balanced budget. I don't prefer to decrease spending on the military but if that is the only way to accomplish a balanced budget, then I'm okay with that.

 @9HNQJLK from Arkansas  answered…2yrs2Y

Increase or left the way it is, but only if it’s defend our own country, and not every little war that’s going on in the world

 @9HFMRDKDemocrat from Arkansas  answered…2yrs2Y

Decrease until it fits within government budget WITHOUT taking money from weapons, vechicles, or other resources necessary for war. Instead, decrease the amount spent on soldiers' health care and training.

 @9H7PH95Peace and Freedom from Arkansas  answered…2yrs2Y

I think the government should decrease the military spending by very little and put the money into schools

 @9GYG6ZM from Arkansas  answered…2yrs2Y

They need to be able to do with their massive amount of money already, but in times of war or some disaster, I could understand needing more. They need to be able to cut down on costs (without putting anyone in danger) instead of demanding more every year.

 @9GXSD57 from Arkansas  answered…2yrs2Y

amount of spending should be based on current hostile factors and the density of the factors should be taken in account too.

 @9GXP266 from Arkansas  answered…2yrs2Y

The spending should be directed differently. Do we need a Space Force? Do we need to spend $30B on a program when the Marine Corps is using hand me downs from the Army and other branches? Are our service members receiving an acceptable salary? These are just a couple simple questions that come to mind when I think about military spending. However, I do believe that our military needs extensive funds to stay on top.

 @9GR63SF from Arkansas  answered…2yrs2Y

I don't think it needs to be increased unless we go into war, then they should be getting paid a lot more for sacrificing their lives or our country. but I'm not against more pay for them either!

 @9G7BK6P from Arkansas  answered…2yrs2Y

Increase military spending if at war and or under threat of invasion. Having a well armed and provisioned military is important, also acts as a deterrent.

 @9FZ9Y9N  from Arkansas  answered…2yrs2Y

I would say if the military can prove the need & demonstrate a plan then give it to them. I think there needs to be more accountability with what they spend, but with this Cold War with North Korea and Russia and with all the unrest in the world the Military needs to be strong and we need better ways to shoot down missiles as it's just a matter of time one of the crazy leader tries it. Never stop improving and improving costs money. Especially technology. Now is not a time to appear weak to the world at large.

 @9FTF7TG from Arkansas  answered…2yrs2Y

Decreased after a deep investigation in to unnecessary over spending. For example. No table should cost 10,000 dollars.

 @9FJX96G from Arkansas  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9F4D576 from Arkansas  answered…2yrs2Y

We need to spend however much money to keep this country safe and help the people during and after they have protected it.

 @9DNQ2WT from Arkansas  answered…2yrs2Y

Keep the amount, but audit to make sure that $750 billion is spent properly.

 @9DCVH2HProgressive from Arkansas  answered…2yrs2Y

No, it should only increase during wars or conflicts, and the government should put the extra spending toward education, healthcare, or lowering the national debt.

 @9D8D59P from Arkansas  answered…2yrs2Y

Only if there is oversight and that companies aren’t charging outrageous prices to the government.

 @9D7Q4HN from Arkansas  answered…2yrs2Y

 @8MLTNV2 from Arkansas  answered…5yrs5Y

They should have a certain limit, yes they should have their weapons and the things they require but they don't need to over spend on weapons when they aren't really going into a war.

 @9CJTT62 from Arkansas  answered…2yrs2Y

yes but they need to keep track of their spending and show where every dime is going

 @96Q6B88 from Arkansas  answered…3yrs3Y

I think that lowering it by at least 100 billion(600 billion) should be enough to keep the current funding well and invest the defunded money into other things.

 @96PJC6K from Arkansas  answered…3yrs3Y

 @96MCFWTConstitution from Arkansas  answered…3yrs3Y

 @96GPD4RProgressive from Arkansas  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, but specifically. Many of our unranked troops' families live on government assistance. Funding for health care for our troops should be increased as well as base salary.

 @96FF7CX from Arkansas  answered…3yrs3Y

The government needs to maintain our advantage we have on other countries. So if other countries are getting more and more developed then we need to also do that by spending more.

 @96C59C2 from Arkansas  answered…3yrs3Y

 @967DY8N from Arkansas  answered…3yrs3Y

Increase, but only to pay the soldiers more money for putting their life on the line for our country.

 @9672DZC from Arkansas  answered…3yrs3Y

Neither, I believe that budget as it stands now allows for our military to properly protect our country.

 @966YFKC from Arkansas  answered…3yrs3Y

 @966MQKR from Arkansas  answered…3yrs3Y

The standing army in times of peace should be very limited and minimized and it should only grow and gain more spending in times of war

 @962PLBJ from Arkansas  answered…3yrs3Y

Would rather that there is more transparency and accountability of spending for funds.

 @95ZYSNNDemocrat from Arkansas  answered…3yrs3Y

 @95XSFHD from Arkansas  answered…3yrs3Y

 @95TKLX6Socialist from Arkansas  answered…3yrs3Y

 @95R3CQL from Arkansas  answered…3yrs3Y

 @95P5Q2J from Arkansas  answered…3yrs3Y

increase the amount for training purposes and purposes that help the public

 @95FPT9P from Arkansas  answered…3yrs3Y

 @954PPSX from Arkansas  answered…3yrs3Y

 @94FRRL8 from Arkansas  answered…3yrs3Y

Decrease, through the nationalization of the arms industry, and the closing of a majority multinational bases.

 @949H89L from Arkansas  answered…3yrs3Y

The military should only need to be used in the case of Apoclypse level disasters.

 @949F73V from Arkansas  answered…3yrs3Y

i think the military is over funded you hear about them just wasting ammo at the end of the year thats tax money thats just thrown out the window

 @949F27L from Arkansas  answered…3yrs3Y

 @94446MD from Arkansas  answered…3yrs3Y

Depends on what you are spending it on. I can't just answer that as an extremely vague question.

 @939J7QK from Arkansas  answered…3yrs3Y

Make the government use the money wisely and have a public expense report for the public
