Should the government continue to fund Planned Parenthood?

I think the government should fund programs that help citizens of the US with things they may not be able to do them selves. Breast cancer screenings, birth control services and adoption is things that cost a lot of money and the government should help. Abortions, however, are a want, not a need and should not be funded. Education for options for adoption should be encouraged. It should not be covered by the government.

maybe because their services reach far beyond abortions and can save many lives through cancer screening, prenatal services, and adoption referrals, but as long as funding is not used for abortion prodcedures

I don't really have an opinion on this, I don't think they should provide abortions unless its medically required

I believe that people who are able to work should help their families and children just like most of us do. I don’t understand why some people are able to work and keep having children, also there are many employment opportunities so I don’t see the problem. That would solve a lot of problems.

Abortions should only paid for by the government in the event of health, rape, incest, and case by case scenario. If people are abusing it, they should be held accountable.

Not in the case of elective procedures. In emergency situations then yes it should be covered under whatever health care for the patient.

No but the government should start a program that offers the health services of planned parenthood in all hospitals not just a private institution like PP.

I think there needs to be monitoring on abortions and the number a person can have in a year, and within what context. As far as the other services they offer for women I support, however the abortions is an iffy topic.
