I think the government should fund programs that help citizens of the US with things they may not be able to do them selves. Breast cancer screenings, birth control services and adoption is things that cost a lot of money and the government should help. Abortions, however, are a want, not a need and should not be funded. Education for options for adoption should be encouraged. It should not be covered by the government.

 @BB23TG3 from Texas  answered…4mos4MO

maybe because their services reach far beyond abortions and can save many lives through cancer screening, prenatal services, and adoption referrals, but as long as funding is not used for abortion prodcedures

 @B7L3RRVGreen from Texas  answered…8mos8MO

I don't really have an opinion on this, I don't think they should provide abortions unless its medically required

 @B32PJX4  from Texas  answered…1yr1Y

I believe that people who are able to work should help their families and children just like most of us do. I don’t understand why some people are able to work and keep having children, also there are many employment opportunities so I don’t see the problem. That would solve a lot of problems.

 @9XZYDFP from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, not nearly to the extent we are now and decrease the amount and only to certain programs in planned parenthood

 @9XQBNR6Peace and Freedom from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

Abortions should only paid for by the government in the event of health, rape, incest, and case by case scenario. If people are abusing it, they should be held accountable.

 @9W998NNWomen’s Equality from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

it would depend on the current money they are making and if it was planned, they would probably be well off, due to it being planned.

 @9SM7LZ9 from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

Not in the case of elective procedures. In emergency situations then yes it should be covered under whatever health care for the patient.

 @9SKF5NL from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

No but the government should start a program that offers the health services of planned parenthood in all hospitals not just a private institution like PP.

 @9SDHPBH from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

I do not think the government should fund it because they have power over whether they stay open or not.

 @9JLT9J4Independence from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

I feel as if this decision should be not be in male partake, rather it should be left to Women and God.

 @9GJSPV7Republican from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

I think there needs to be monitoring on abortions and the number a person can have in a year, and within what context. As far as the other services they offer for women I support, however the abortions is an iffy topic.

 @9FLMSBW from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

No, and they mustn't fund any organization performing abortions for NON-FATAL pregnancies

 @9FG5NZDSocialist from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

No, so people can't attack it any more trough the government instead it is , it's own private business

 @9F72FY3 from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

 @9DTM62T from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes but the money should be categorial grants that do not fund abortion directly or indirectly.

 @9DS2TMR from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

 @9DG8GJJDemocrat from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

yes, for the reason of teaching about safe sex, preventing overpopulation, and not spreading diseases.

 @9DFKX5D from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, as long as more awareness is spread to prevent unplanned pregnancies. If Planned Parenthood does abortions, I'm against it.

 @9DDPQ38 from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

 @9D6DZM7 from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

No, but allow it to establish its own supports and funding. Allow it to continue its work as a private entity.

 @9D4VKZT from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

No, because abortion is the overwhelming majority of procedures performed there and the government shouldn't fund murder.

 @9CG3D9KConstitution from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

No! Planned Parenthood offers no medical care for women, pregnant or not, and not care for their babies. Planned Parenthood only offers abortions of babies and hormones for people with gender dysphoria.

 @9CG3D9KConstitution from Texas  commented…3yrs3Y

No! Planned Parenthood offers no medical care for women, pregnant or not, and no care for their babies. Planned Parenthood only offers abortions of babies and hormones for people with gender dysphoria.

 @DemocraticDabblerfrom Michigan  disagreed…3yrs3Y

Actually, Planned Parenthood provides a range of vital healthcare services for women, including cancer screenings, STI testing and treatment, and contraceptive services. For example, in 2019, they performed over 1.5 million STI tests and provided birth control to nearly 1.4 million patients. With these services being critical for many women's health, do you think there's a better alternative to ensure access to these essential services if not through Planned Parenthood?

 @9BJ8C9BIndependent from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

No, the government should fund sex education in schools and programs geared toward teaching safe sex

 @96FB9D8 from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

No because they promote transgenderism to children to young to understand such a complex topic at that age

 @95J2LVG from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

No, because of the use of the organs after the child has been aborted is immoral

 @94R4KZ7Independent from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes only for early term abortions and rape, incest, or health of mother.

 @92LR5PM from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

 @92K23B5 from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

No, and the government should not give funds to any organizations that perform abortions. Also, abortion should be made illegal. Abortion should not exist in any circumstance.

 @92545M3 from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

No, because organizations like Planned Parenthood are judaic communist organizations that are pushing for the decrease of the non-Jewish populations of the world.

 @8Y8KPLF from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

I think their should be certain tests mentally to see if the person receiving an abortion to see if they havent been getting abortions because they want to

 @8Y7B8GR from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

It can save many lives through cancer screening, parental services, and adoption referrals. As long as it’s not used towards abortions

 @8XXKCVM from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

The use of condoms and pregnancy pills are very available. However, I believe under certain circumstances that abortion should not be removed.

 @8XPJN2QRepublican from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, however I do not believe that they should fund the abortion aspect of it

 @8XP2KW8Peace and Freedom from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8XK7DNV from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

I am pro-choice but I think planned parenthood should re-do their whole system like it should be mandatory that they show the sonogram (unless the woman doesn't wanna see it) and they should give every woman a detailed description of each of their options and help them find resources to help them with what they choose.

 @8X7SVH9 from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8X46G7C from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

I believe they should fund it for a certain amount of time. I think abortion is okay depending on the circumstance but people shouldn't use abortion as a form of birth control.

 @8WPNQYD from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

as long as it doesn’t fund abortion due to being irresponsible. rape yes help fund but if you’re just too lazy to be responsible then that’s on you

 @8WN4XKQ from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8WMP2V2 from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8WB5VZ5 from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, until they stop providing cross sex hormones and puberty blockers. Abortion should be free, anonymous, and on-demand.

 @8VY4RRC from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

No, so that Planned Parenthood and other organizations are not ruled by, dictated by or held accountable to outside party objectives, but simply do work of helping people.

 @8VTXLX7 from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

Provide abortion to those that need it, not those who go around and get knocked up being a hoe.

 @8V5BXSS from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, the idea of planned parenthood, but improvements need to be made so they don’t screw people over.

 @8TL6W62 from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8TKHCYT from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8T7C42SIndependent from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes it is good for awareness on many other diseases and as long as they are not paying for abortions but it’s a lot of money.

 @8RN7FP6 from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8RJT39F from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

The government should establish where the tax dollars would go. Planned Parenthood provides a large range of services, but tax money shouldn't be used to fund abortions.

 @8NRSLTJ from Texas  answered…6yrs6Y

I believe that it should be funded for the needed things as far as protection for women,but not for abortion,if someone is within knowing of the chances that could happen,then they should have the money for taking that risk,unless it was rape.

 @8NRNZ6VRepublican from Texas  answered…6yrs6Y

Adults should always be aware of their actions. In some instances yes if that person life is in danger. But God plant every soul regardless of how we feel God doesn’t make mistakes

 @8N76NQ3 from Texas  answered…6yrs6Y

They should provide funding if Planned Parenthood will advocate for adoption before abortion and eliminate abortion by choice. And eliminate abortion up until birth in New York.

 @8LVP7D5Republican from Texas  answered…6yrs6Y

No. And every one who works for Planned Parenthood and killed babies should be held criminally charger

 @8KH9LCB from Texas  answered…6yrs6Y

not for abortions unless it is life-threatening situations, rape, etc. It is beneficial because they can save lives through cancer screening, prenatal services, and adoption referrals.

 @8HZ6F3V from Texas  answered…6yrs6Y

Yes, but funding should be evaluated and prioritized appropriately

 @8HW7TLYRepublican from Texas  answered…6yrs6Y

 @8HSYJ7B from Texas  answered…6yrs6Y

I think funding of live saving procedures is important, but that the matter of funding abortion or not is dependent on the situation.

 @8GBWFJ5Independent from Texas  answered…6yrs6Y

 @8FVK3WN from Texas  answered…6yrs6Y

 @8FR37H3 from Texas  answered…6yrs6Y

Yes as long as funding is not used for abortion procedures or contraception

 @8DXZTPY from Texas  answered…6yrs6Y

some people need the help, others take advantage. i say, make a case then make a decision.

 @8D72392 from Texas  answered…6yrs6Y

We should not directly fund Planned Parenthood, but abortion and pregnancy services should be included with all healthcare plans.

 @8D4DNX7 from Texas  answered…6yrs6Y

With universal healthcare, the funding of Planned Parenthood would become obsolete. We should have universal healthcare

 @8CD6BP9 from Texas  answered…6yrs6Y

No, I believe private charities should donate instead, Planned Parenthood has an abundance of money from the government and has many advocates that would be more willing to donate. That money could be used to help and strengthen low-income families in need. Especially Black and Latino low-income families in which Abortion is more marketed too than any other ethnic group. Hmmm, very suspicious...

 @8C8TGGPRepublican from Texas  answered…6yrs6Y

The funds should be lowered and abortions should be analyzed by a case by case situation.

 @8C77KRC from Texas  answered…6yrs6Y

No, the government has no business in social issues like abortion and gay rights

 @9CWQ8HZIndependent from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

 @9BBJNGY from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, as long as funding is not used for abortion unless the case of incest, rape, or danger to mother.

 @99GJNKW from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

no, and I don't believe the government should fund any organization other than that of retired veteran's.

 @998VZJK from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

 @97T2PXMRepublican from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, their services can be cancer screenings, prenatal serviced, and adoption referrals, and whatnot, but should not go toward abortions unless in extreme circumstances

 @97B5D9M from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

 @978G3QYPeace and Freedom from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

 @96YHXKY from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

Abortion should not be a plan B, use abortion only too save SA victims or medical emergencies

 @96TY6JJ from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

 @96QQMJG from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

I don’t have a problem with planned parenthood but I’m not a fan of abortions. It seems selfish to me, but I’m a guy so what do I know. I think if a woman was raped, if the child won’t make it, if the woman won’t make it, then abortion is an option. However, I don’t think people should just get abortions when they don’t want to have a kid.

 @95XJVW4 from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, their services reach far beyond abortions and can save many lives through cancer screening, prenatal services, and adoption referrals but deny these serviceses to blacks

 @8Y9J5JDIndependent from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

No, government spending shouldn't be used on controversial topic, whereas tax payers are indirectly supporting institutions they don't support.

 @8XGC9HY from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

This organization does good and should exist but as for government funding I’d abstain from it being funded or controlled by the government in any way shape or form because the government is large bureaucratic and often ineffective. It also opens up politicians to having a greater say in the decision making and corruption

 @8RP9NST from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

no, planned parenthood is an independently wealthy organization that does not require government funds

 @8HRSFCX from Texas  answered…6yrs6Y

 @96J6YHG from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

Abortion subject matters should be turned over to women since men lack wombs. Legislation should however restrict and limit abortion matters in marrages to force each party to reach an agreed decision.

 @LennenMad  from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

I don't believe the government should fund private organizations; however, they should provide alternative means for this care if they do not.

 @9D6CLKV from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, as long as funding is not used for abortion procedures that don't endanger the mothers life of come from rape
