The U.S. is a global leader in not only diplomacy- but in pollution. Regardless, The U.S. should be a model for the world because the less pollution the better.

Other countries are not emitting the same levels of Carbon Emissions as the United States. Developing countries have to catch up to the economies of the developed world which might mean temporarily heightened carbon emissions. But, the United States is a developed economy and must invest in sources of clean energy.

Make a deal with France that says each city in the agreement only has a certain amount of carbon emission they can use.

If other countries were to have more emissions, then they would have to pay more so they can help stop the greenhouse emissions.

Look at China, look at India...we cannot weaken ourselves as a democracy economically. If we do and China becomes the world superpower, they wouldn't care about the amount of carbon they emit anyway. It is necessary that a democracy leads the world into the future.

Other countries need to be held to the same standard as most of the percentages are high and above ranking as most other countries it wouldn't make sense to punish a country for using what they need to go to work and get things done like regular human beings.
