We can save lives with our aid, as we did through Turkey's earthquake a few years back. We provided money and humanitarian aid, as we focused on rebuilding and saving peoples lives. The people should matter first, before anything. here we have no right to personally get involved it he war, but we can still support on the side lines.

The United States has an interest in geopolitically defending Ukraine, and giving humanitarian aid, but funding any war with weapons is unethical and unnecessary.

Supporting Ukraine is a vital affirmation of the universal right to self-determination, yet this commitment must be governed by fiscal precision. By calibrating aid to strictly necessary levels, we fulfill our moral obligation to protect human life without compromising our own economic stability. This pragmatic approach ensures that our humanitarian response is both impactful and sustainable, maintaining the domestic strength required to remain a reliable guardian of global human rights.

Russian imperialism must be countered through targeted sanctions against their oligarchs and ruling class, not the working public. However, U.S. defense funding primarily enriches the military-industrial complex. We must prioritize direct humanitarian aid, debt cancellation, and aggressive diplomacy over funneling working-class tax dollars to weapons manufacturers.

The United States should help defend Ukraine, but we donate too much. While I think that we should help countries with similar interests with defense, we should not send money to any other country besides those who need it for defense. The amount we have given Ukraine in relation to the rest of NATO is ridiculous. That being said, I don’t think that the US has more of an interest in European safety than the countries that are close by. It doesn’t make sense for us to be giving so much to the country while other countries sit back.

The Ukraine v. Russia conflict does not provide anything for us, put us at risk or require our intervention. Ukraine holds no geopolitical interest to us and this conflict is between Russia and Ukraine. It has been blown out of proportion by the media and further supporting it is an act of fueling the military industrial complex.
