What is your stance on abortion?
One cannot say it is your body and your choice and be scientifically or morally accurate. The human…
It isn't about whether or not a zygote or fetus is morally equivalent to a human (it isn't but thats a different conversation), it's about bodily autonomy. No matter how many lives it would save you cannot be forced to be an organ donor, it's the same thing with pregnancy. The most fundamental and basic right of a human being is to have agency over your body. People should not be forced to incubate a fetus. Your body is not seperate from you as a person, it is you, forcing people to carry an unwanted pregnancy is an invasion of that person's very being.
And don't you dare talk about the sanctity of life for a zygote when there are living breathing children being bombed, when people in our own country are dying because they can't afford medical care, and when there are 2,331 people on death row.
If we're trying to save lives maybe we should focus on the ones that are already here in front of us.
