President Joe Biden on Tuesday said that he holds Iran responsible for the drone attack in Jordan that killed U.S. troops, but said that he does not "think we need a wider war in the Middle East."
"'I do hold them responsible in the sense that they're supplying the weapons to the people who did it," Biden said of whether or not Iran should be held accountable for the drone strike that left three U.S. military service members dead.
Three service members were killed in an overnight drone attack at a small outpost in Jordan and at least 34 were injured over the weekend.
However, on Tuesday, he reiterated he is not looking to escalate conflicts with Iran.
"I don't think we need a wider war in the middle east, that's not what i'm looking for," the president said.

Biden is about to do exactly that which he said in 2020 Trump does not have the power to do: perpetrate acts of war against Iran without Congressional approval.

Same thing happened in Yemen. Biden has repeatedly bombed inside Yemen over weeks without any whiff of Congressional approval.
Even if you support Biden on the merits of these bombings, it's vital to observe this Constitutional requirement, as Biden himself argued in 2020.
The reality is that in legislation dating to the early 19th century, Congress has ceded significant authority to POTUS to fight piracy. Congress should be more circumspect when contemplating these kinds of laws.

Apparently the sarcasm in that comment flew straight over your head. The reason I made it was because the guy who responded to my comment failed to capitalise the beginnings of HIS sentences or use proper English grammar, so it was just an amusing little swipe at that designed to encourage people to not destroy the English language by writing grammar-less posts so confusing Sherlock Holmes couldn't decode them. Oh so of the 45 soldiers that Died in Battle under Trump none were Black? I think you will find if you talk to their Families it dosnt matter . I do know that a few feel Trump insulted them. Especially ,the Black Family Soldier who was killed in Africa.
