I don’t buy from Amazon unless there are a lot of extenuating factors. I know they are doing just fine without me and that other warehouse workers may not have better work situations, but at least it’s not my order that penalizes someone. I don’t buy from Home Depot because of what the CEO has said. Basically, if there is an alternative or buying something local isn’t much more expensive, that’s what I try to do. It is hard to keep track of everything people say and their conglomerates, so I just try to limit spending as I am able and chose when I can. Ultimately, I think that we need to have more regulations and common sense when structuring businesses, employee/corporate earnings, and influence over government officials. Then we can have more healthy debates instead of backlash.
