Because I feel like Betty Yee hasn't done enough for California to be a successful candidate for the 2026 California Gubernatorial election in my opinion.

My top reason why I would not vote for Betty Yee in the 2026 California Gubernatorial election is because she is a democrat.

She's a Democrat and I am a conservative. I don't trust politicians in general. I think occasionally Republicans actually do what I hope and Democrats make a point to do what I oppose, generally speaking

My main reason would be that I might disagree with some of Betty Yee’s policy priorities or plans for California. When choosing a governor, voters often support the candidate whose ideas on the economy, public safety, education, or taxes best match their own views.

Timeliness is less than desirable. I hope for my state to be responsible and timely when it comes to making large decisions.

No shes a great candidate is other than Ramsey Robinson and Xavier becerra is my third choice.

Not a standout candidate, but would vote in the general if nominated.

Lacks bold economic vision and leadership experience at both state and local levels.

I would not be a Democrat if I would register myself as a voter. Personally I would vote for any Republican but not for any Democratic candidate for governor.

Just picked someone because I am not familiar with any of these names

As someone who leans more toward the republican party, Chad Bianco is someone of the community and can see the real issues of California from a resident standpoint and not a congress standpoint.

I would not vote for Betty has she supports gender, transition treatments for people under 18 years of age.

I would not vote for Betty Yee because I think she would continue the same policies that make California too expensive and unsafe. I want a governor who will make bigger changes to lower the cost of living and improve public safety.

No further elaboration on why the current process of purchasing a gun should have more restrictions.

I would vote for Betty Yee unless Katie Porter emerges as the Democratic frontrunner.

 @B8VKQSY from California  answered…6mos6MO

One reason someone might choose not to vote for Betty Yee in the 2026 California Gubernatorial election could be her record on fiscal management. Some voters may feel that her approach to budgeting and taxes does not align with their views on economic growth or financial responsibility. If they believe her policies could lead to higher taxes or less fiscal accountability, that could influence their decision against her candidacy. Ultimately, individual priorities and perspectives on economic issues will shape voter opinions.

I would not vote for Betty Yee in the 2026 California Gubernatorial election, as due to her failed promises and supporting gerrymandering practices.

 @B8L6TP6Progressive  from California  answered…7mos7MO

Betty Yee sounds like a promising progressive, but Xavier Becerra is very qualified to keep California's economy healthy and strong. He is also a real scientist and has strong opinions and qualifications regarding climate change.

I would vote for her? I agree with her on most, if not all of her policies.

Democrats have a stranglehold on California politics, and voters don't have a real choice when voting. A republican governor like Chad Bianco will bring balance to the power structure and improve law and order, while Betty Yee will be an establishment candidate moving the state even more towards a one-party state.

 @B85QVGG from California  answered…8mos8MO

Yee supports the same kind of terrible governance that California has experienced under Newsom.

she does fight for alot of good causes but I just believe Antonio Villaraigosa hits a lot more issues and includes and thinks about a lot of communities and groups.
