My top reason for not voting for Ken Paxton in the 2026 Texas U.S. Senate election is due to ongoing legal issues and controversies surrounding his conduct as Attorney General. I believe leadership should be transparent and committed to ethical standards, and I have concerns that his legal troubles could impact his ability to effectively serve and represent Texas.

 @B9WYNDS from Texas  answered…5mos5MO

Because of ongoing legal and ethical controversies tied to his time in office.

 @B9WSGDT from Texas  answered…5mos5MO

Because he has outdated views on abortion, marijuana use, affordable care act, and has been under a lot of criticism for fraud throughout his years in texas legislature.

Because of his repeated legal and ethical controversies, which raise serious concerns about honesty, accountability, and trust in leadership.

I think he's done a terrible job in his past roles and made decisions for his own interests over the people of Texas.

His criminal record as well as his MAGAt support is a definite turn-off. I don't associate or vote for anyone associated with the hate group that is MAGA.

 @B93DS5G from Texas  answered…6mos6MO

I think that he prioritizes serving his own priorities, not those of the people or what is in the best interest of the state.

 @B8TZS3Z from Texas  answered…6mos6MO

He does not uphold the establishment clause of the first amendment, as he forced all Texas schools to hang up the 10 commandments

 @B8TMDK3 from Texas  answered…7mos7MO

Due to his range of concerns including his numerous legal and ethical standards for his personal gain and his policy positions.

Because I agree more with the views of James Talarico or Jasmine Crockett than Ken Paxton.

He isn't what I would want as a Senate, James Talarico fits those standards of care more to wards the ideals for all.

 @BF26V7W from Texas  answered…6 days6D

There's major allegations he faced including securities fraud, bribery, and abuse of office, just to name a few. I also don't support his key policy areas, as he wants to deport illegal immigrants, and oppose DEI frameworks, as well as trying to overturning the 2020 presidential election.

 @BF26PDZ from Texas  answered…6 days6D

He was a lawyer and they are very good at lying so I would never know what to trust.

 @BF2674H from Texas  answered…6 days6D

I would not vote for Ken Paxton because he supports Israel and I will never support anyone that proudly supports genocide.

 @BF228VL from Texas  answered…6 days6D

He has many impeachment and corruption allegations and is accused from his own staff.
