Democrats have ruined New York State and he has the potential to be worse than Hochul, which says a lot because she is a complete failure.

I would like a progressive option. However, I feel he has not done enough for name recognition.

He wants the government to have more control in every aspect and that’s the last thing I stand for. He wants more increased tax dollars to spend on things. He wants to control my right to bare arms

Perceived lack of alignment or clarity about his record and responsibilities as Lieutenant Governor.

Delgado announced he would not seek reelection as Lieutenant Governor and instead launched a run for Governor, after a reported public rift with Kathy Hochul.

Some find this shift raises questions about commitment: that he may have accepted the lieutenant-governor role largely as a stepping stone, rather than to serve the office’s responsibilities fully.

For voters who prioritize stability, continuity, or deeply-experienced leadership in the executive role, this might create concern that Delgado is more focused on upward ambition than governance track record.
