I am not saying that women are getting abortions for fun, I am saying that women who cannot sustain a child should be careful not to get pregnant, and if a woman decides to have a child despite her inability to sustain one, then it is her responsibility that she decided to undertake when she had sex. If our government decides to fund abortions for everyone no matter the cause, there definitely will be some women who will unfortunately try to abuse the system and get pregnant then get an abortion rather than trying to abstain. I am not saying that this small group represents all women, because they definitely don't. If a woman intentionally gets pregnant despite not being emotionally or financially able to support a child, she should not have made the decision to have a child in the first place. In my first comment, I said that I agree with having an abortion if there is danger to the mother or the child. Accidental pregnancies can be reduced by abstinence and using the necessary contraceptives before pregnancy. When a woman is having sex, she should be aware of the risk of an accidental pregnancy despite the use of any contraceptives during sex. Women should have the right to privacy, but not to the extent that a woman's right to privacy overrides a fetus's right to life.
