That's how rich billionaires are. It seems nearly impossible for one person to be able to spend that much. In return for raising taxes, we would be able to pay off much of the national debt, implement universal healthcare, and provide a multitude of other social programs to make quality of life higher.

Yes, we should do that. They absolutely would realize if it was missing, but the money sure can be put to much better use than them hoarding it for no purpose other than to have it (and for 5 generations of children to mooch off of instead of doing anything to contribute to society). They sure aren't going to spend that much, and the wealth gap in general needs to be addressed more than it is.
In mild relation, the abusive or otherwise rights-ignoring means by which they typically end up with a billion dollars need to be addressed and regulated/prevented too.

This would be all well and good if other countries didn’t exist. If other countries didn’t exist, then this would be awesome and wholesome. But then if we did this, literally every single corporation will outsource MORE than they already do to avoid taxes and increase reliance on trading with countries that have unethical labor practices like China. Also, taxes have been getting higher and higher for a lot of people during many democrat presidencies. But then absolutely no prices went down. In fact, they just kept going up. You know what else kept going up? The national debt. I fully support screwing over corporations, but only if:
1) there’s literally nothing they can do about it lmao
2) if something actually good comes out of it other than fleeting satisfaction
