Well, in all honestly, critical race theory connects to a lot of already taught school subjects, and our livelihoods in general. Understanding how racism and the institution of it operates in our society is important information that anyone, especially anyone in this country, deserves to be aware of. It’ll help the youth become more informed, less discriminatory, and more understanding.

I agree, as children we are taught only what others allow or want to teach. Many kids face discriminatory today and don't understand how deeply rooted racism is in everything they know. Maybe they should not be taught as little little kids but by the age of at least 13 they should start to know the challenges they will face in the upcoming future. I think if white children were taught this too maybe they would try to make a change. These kids will never know a normal life ever, but if they knew why and were a little more informed if would help, even just a little bit. This gives kids understanding to the differences and social issues going on in the country they call home.
