Russia has been an aggressor since the beginning, here are the list of times Russia has used force against other regions and countries:

First Chechen War (1994–1996)
Second Chechen War (1999–2009)
1992–1993 Georgian Civil War
1999 Dagestan War
2008 Russo-Georgian War
2014 Annexation of Crimea
2014–Present War in Donbas
2015–2024 Syrian Civil War
2022 Full-Scale Invasion of Ukraine
2023 Niger and Africa (via Wagner forces, which also fight in Ukraine)

Given this trend, Russia is incredibly likely to continue invading its neighbors. The cost of a broader war would be incredibly greater than what we support Ukraine with today.

Of the funds given to Ukraine, most are spent in the USA. One analysis, by the American Enterprise Institute, found that Ukraine aid is funding defense manufacturing in more than seventy U.S. cities. A lot of other "costs" are simply loaning out assets that we've already paid for, such as F-16's and Tanks.

We must support Ukraine because it prevents continued Russian aggression, it would cost us much more if there were a broader war in Europe, and it actually doesn't require much sacrifice from us because it provides us jobs and economic benefit.

Countries declare war on other countries all the time. Even though other countries are also funding Ukraine, the US funds way more compared to any other country. The US needs to step away from foreign affairs alltogehter as all it's doing is increasing prices for Americans back home. We have our hands in too many things and all this money could be going to better things. Like helping our own citizens and making life easier.

We should not be relied upon as the world's moral police. You can argue whether who's in the wrong all you'd like, but we hold no ground eastern european affairs. We should focus inward. I do not care frankly

Supporting Ukraine is important but has lost too many American tax dollars and should be significantly cut.

I have multiple reasons to disagree with this. One reason is that in the constitution the US is supposed to not intervene in any countries wars or problems which includes funding. Reason two Is that we are making enemies for no reason with an extremely powerful opponent that could be a helpful partner in many things like trade and military etc. Reason three is it drains our economy and creates more debt for no reason.

Russia also wanted to join NATO and was denied multiple times. As well was promised by multiple presidents NATO would not reach any further than so many countries out from Russias border. As the years progressed NATO got closer and closer to the border. And when you remember NATO was formed because of fear of the USSR returning. We put Russia in a corner. The current war in Ukraine is a failure on NATO not letting Russia in NATO.

Russia and Ukraine Leaders are both corrupt if Zelnskey never wanted to join NATO this would of never happened and if we had a good president when this war started it wouldnt of happend in the first place.

There needs to be more done to protect the neighboring countries of Russia, and something needs to be done about Putin generally. He's a modern version of Hitler and needs to be stopped.

Russia wants it way more than we do. This little country has way overextended itself in debt and in the war with its very little resources and Zelenskyy is a jew who is stealing money from his own country and disregarding the lives of his soldiers.

Elizabeth Warren Walks Back Murder Comments

Congressional Democrats broadly denounced the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson Friday morning, after Republicans started accusing Sen. Elizabeth Warren of excusing violence.“No one's condoning this,” said Rep. Brad Schneider (D-Ill.). “Violence never is the right answer for anything. And it was a horrible murder, a tragic loss for his family.” Warren this week condemned the shooting, but added that people “can be pushed only so far.”"We'll say it over and over," Warren said on MSNBC’S “The ReidOut.” " Violence is never the answer. This guy [Luigi Mangione] gets a trial who's allegedly killed the CEO of UnitedHealth, but you can only push people so far, and then they start to take matters into their own hands."In a statement to POLITICO, Warren said, “Violence is never the answer. Period. I should have been much clearer that there is never a justification for murder.” Top Republicans denounced Warren's comments and the walked-back rhetoric, with House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-La.) calling it “inappropriate and dangerous.”Some House Democrats asked about the incident on Thursday pivoted the conversation to discuss policy options on health care or gun safety.“I don't really know that this is really a space that Congress normally weighs in on,” said Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas). “But at the end of the day, I think it’s an opportunity, because now people are talking about health care and to talk about the fact that this industry has honestly not been as helpful as it could be.”“Violence is never the answer,” said Rep. Lebanese authorities say Israeli bombing has killed more than 2,300 people and injured almost 11,000, mostly in the past three weeks, with Israeli attacks reaching areas far beyond Hizbollah’s traditional bastions of support in the south.The Israeli military has ordered people living in more than a quarter of Lebanon to flee, according to a UN calculation, as its fight with the Iran-backed Shia militant group Hizbollah threatens to engulf the Mediterranean country.Lebanese authorities say Israeli bombing has killed more than 2,300 people and injured almost 11,000, mostly in the past three weeks, with Israeli attacks reaching areas far beyond Hizbollah’s traditional bastions of support in the south.More than 1mn people have fled their homes in Lebanon in under a month, according to its government, a dramatic forced movement of the population in a country of only about 5mn inhabitants with a land mass smaller than the US state of Connecticut.
