Based on my own experience, I do think that improving the public transport system will help reduce traffic, improve timeliness, and cut back on personal gas costs. Paying for a membership, rather than for gas once a week, can help someone save and earn more money to put towards the increasing debt issues. Moreover, more walking and activity can help create healthier lifestyles, and if we improve public transport, then we may improve social skills and public presence.
