I fear he doesn’t know how to guide the American people even thought he might have been here is whole life I don’t see what he will bring that will actually help the people of California

 @BF2233F from California  answered…6 days6D

Due to him being a republican, I would have concerns over issues like abortion rights and rights for the LGBTQ community as well as education freedom.

I don't really know anything about him, however my dad met Xavier Becerra at a recent business event were he talked about things he would do for our country, and he believes that fortunate people like him should contribute more to the state.

I'm overall not a conservative; while I don't like Becerra and my preferred candidate was Matt Mahan, I still think Hilton's plans to massively slash funding is going to end up causing more harm than good.

 @BDXKFHH from California  answered…2wks2W

Has limited experience in office and agrees with the views of Trump, while I don't

One of my top reasons why I would not vote for Steve Hilton in the 2026 California Gubernatorial election I because he doesn't believe same-sex couples should not have the same right to adopt as straight couples .

 @BDTD4LXDemocrat from California  answered…3wks3W

I believe he is British but also I believe his views surrounding supporting Trump are not wise.

His stance on abortion is unacceptable. Regardless of one's personal beliefs, abortion is also vital life-saving women's healthcare that cannot be abolished.

 @BF33H6QLibertarian from California  answered…4 days4D

His beliefs don't align with mine, and he lacks governing experience.

 @BF3CBWPPeace and Freedom from California  answered…3 days3D

He is more about small governments and business, and I dont really align with most republican views.

 @BF3D23L from California  answered…3 days3D

My reason for not voting for Steve Hilton is that I disagree with his approach to government and the economy. I believe government should play a role in supporting working families through healthcare, education, and social programs. I am concerned that policies focused on reducing regulations and government involvement often benefit corporations more than everyday people. I also support immigration policies that recognize the contributions immigrants make to our communities and economy.

 @BF3FQPJ from California  answered…3 days3D

His policy positions do not align with my views on important issues facing California.

His plans to cut state income taxes might weaken California's public services and environmental protections.

Don’t believe his policies and upbringing are a good representation of the people.

As a former UK Conservative Party strategist and a media figure who spent years on Fox News, critics and Democratic opponents argue he lacks the practical, hands-on governance experience required to manage a massive entity like the State of California.

Hilton is a Republican connected to Fox News, a channel that I notice often exaggerates its stories and takes biased stances. He supports Donald Trump, who I think is ineffective as our president at the moment, and thus I would not want him to take after any of Trump's ideas or policies.

 @BF2SFWQDemocrat from California  answered…4 days4D

i would not vote for Steve Hilton because our state is a democratic and California is not a conservative state.

 @BF2STFQ from California  answered…4 days4D

I just rather have someone with more experience within our society and politics because i feel like we need someone who understands the people and what they need.

 @BF2THZT from California  answered…4 days4D

I would not vote for Steve Hilton in 2026 because he is strongly aligned with Donald Trump.

 @BF2XVT3Democrat from California  answered…4 days4D

Steve Hilton would have destructive policies like the Trump administration.

 @BF2XVZK from California  answered…4 days4D

Steve Hilton holds non progressive policies, policies that jeopardize the development of the overall country and it's people's awareness of the political landscape. Additionally, his refusal to help the lower "caste" of US citizens in favor of billionaires doesn't make me very hopeful he works in the interest of the people.

 @BF2Z5SK from California  answered…4 days4D

Steve Hilton is supported by our current President. I do not approve of our current president.

 @BF2Z9XS from California  answered…4 days4D

 @BF2ZX85  from California  answered…4 days4D

The main reason I would not vote for Hilton is that Hilton's position on women's reproductive healthcare appears to be more restrictive, which allows less autonomy over women's reproductive decisions. I believe that a woman's body should be that woman's choice of what she does with it.

 @BF3269P from California  answered…4 days4D

He believes that religion has a rule over certain laws that have already been passed. For example, he believes gay marriage should be allowed to be denied in churches.
