This is why centralized power is dangerous—too much influence in too few hands can derail any hope for genuine peace. Let the people decide, not a handful of insiders with their own agendas.

Interesting how these so-called 'peace deals' always seem to serve the interests of career politicians and not the American people. Maybe we should be asking tougher questions about who really benefits from these agreements.

Yet another example of how the same old establishment figures keep sabotaging real opportunities for peace. Maybe if we had leaders who actually listened to the people instead of lobbyists, we could finally see some change.
