Good news if it means less U.S. involvement abroad. Let’s hope all parties respect the ceasefire so we can stay out of costly foreign entanglements and let local actors resolve their own issues.

Strong leadership and diplomatic pressure work—proof that standing firm gets results in the region. Keeping vital shipping lanes open and encouraging peace is what America should focus on.

Glad to see a ceasefire, but let's not forget the need for a real, lasting peace that addresses the root causes of the conflict. Diplomacy can't stop at a temporary agreement—people on both sides deserve justice and security.
