The court ruled that the substantive right to abortion was not “deeply rooted in this Nation’s history or tradition”, nor considered a right when the Due Process Clause was ratified in 1868.

I am pro life and pro woman. I do not believe abortion is a worthy endevour for a government to be harping on or for people in general. It is sad. However, many women pursue abortion because it seems like the only choice. That is also sad. I want to honor all life...the life of the baby in the womb and the life of the woman. Helping HER so that she can feel confident for years to come about whatever decision she makes. Also, having had friends who've had an abortion, the emotional trauma from having one is real. This needs to be addressed and talked about more as many do not understand the psychological trauma that occurs in whatever after having an abortion. That is sad.
