What is your stance on abortion?

You claim that abortion is somehow a woman’s right, that freedom to murder her own child is somehow an inalienable right. There are many code-words that anti-lifers will use – alternatively describing it as a woman’s right to privacy or even to her own body. Hypocrites! The moment of conception the baby is not the woman’s body, it is a separate body. Deny this and you deny science itself. I’m sure if these babies had voices to speak, they too would be demonstrating in the streets, waving aloft signs that read “HANDS OFF OUR BODIES,” as your signs do. I’m sure they would declare the same right to “bodily autonomy,” that the abortionists do! This has nothing to do with women’s rights and everything to do with babies’ rights.

Then there are those who claim to be Pro-Life but allow exceptions in cases of rape or incest. That is a logically inconsistent standpoint – if the baby is not to be murdered when it was conceived in a marriage why is moral to murder it if it was conceived outside of one? What difference is there? It doesn’t matter WHERE the baby came from – it’s still a baby, and the baby had nothing to do with the circumstances that produced it. Absolutely nothing to do with it. It is endowed by God with the same inalienable right to life that all other human beings are – and the right to life is the most immediate right of all, outweighing any imaginary “right” women may have to comfort or security! The only reason we consent to the presence of government is on the condition that it will secure our rights! Why, then, has it not the authority to stop the abomination we call abortion? Imagine if murder was legal – if theft, arson, and vandalism was legal? Where would civilization be then? It could not exist without the law. Why then is abortion a right rather than a crime? Why is it tolerated?

Then there are those who claim that abortion should be illegal only after a certain period of time has elapsed. Thirty weeks, twenty weeks, twelve weeks, six – why do we draw the line there? Some say that abortion is justified as long as the baby hasn’t had a heartbeat. But there are plenty of people in this world who need a pacemaker to keep their heart beating. This would then mean that they are fair game for every abominable crime conceivable by man! Will we disallow abortion by metric of intelligence? What does this mean for the mentally ill? Are they fair game to shoot in the head because they are less intelligent than we? Will we draw the line when it has nerves, when it can feel the pain of being butchered alive in the womb? If we do, is it then justified to give people anesthetic and stab them to death? Of course not! The only logical place to draw the line is that all human beings are created equal and have the same natural right to life FROM THE POINT OF CONCEPTION. Anything short of this position, deemed by today’s immoral world as “radical” has disastrous implications for a host of human beings – be they paralyzed, mentally impaired, in a comma, have lung or heart issues, or have only a certain amount of time to live.

In summary, abortion is an inexcusable atrocity that displays in living color the very worst of human nature. It is immoral and logically fallacious to allow ANY exceptions or provisions for abortion. This horrible crime must be stopped, and we must act soon before we incur righteous judgment upon ourselves. There is no middle position, there is no moderation! Either we are ALL for life or we are ALL against it. The choice is yours; the evidence is here. Which side are you on?
