Abortion is a medical procedure resulting in the termination of a human pregnancy and death of a fetus. Abortion was banned in 30 states until the 1973 Supreme Court decision Roe v. Wade. The ruling made abortion legal in all 50 states but gave them regulatory powers over when abortions could be performed during a pregnancy. On June 24, 2022, the Supreme Court overruled Roe v. Wade in the case Dobbs v. Jackson. The court ruled that the substantive right to abortion was not “deeply rooted in this Nation’s history or tradition”, nor considered a right when the Due Process Clause was ratified in 1868.

Every naturally growing cell in the body is part of God's plan and should not be removed by medical procedures. We should trust His will and avoid such interventions.

“should not be removed”
As republicans, we must stick to our roots of individual freedoms, and we as Christians must only leave other people's transgressions between them and God. It should only be our individual sins that we should worry about.

I would also like to say this: Abraham Lincoln had a point. We must ensure that we are on God's side. He is against abortion, so we must be as well.
@9FVZ6PFRepublican 10mos10MO
Does the individual freedom extend to the unborn child? What about their freedom? Do you think that the government has a role protecting their freedom to live as well as any other human being’s freedom?
@TRUMPIST✝️🇺🇸 5mos5MO
“must only leave other people's transgressions between them and God”
Jesus would never support abortion, dont we punish criminals who break the law and interfer with certain personal freedoms which can result in harm to others, and everyone is okay with that? It is the same thing for abortion, we must stop the mass execution of pre-born babies
@B29MQ5C8mos8MO
“we as Christians must”
Okay, thank you for saying that you shouldn't worry about other people's problems. But "we as Christians"??? Do you guys realize that not all of Americans are Christans? There are Jews, Hindus, Muslims, and so many more. Don't force your religion on others for no reason
So, by that logic, we should avoid removing cancerous tumors because they're "naturally growing" cells too? How about you give that a test run and we'll implement it on your 100th birthday?

“Don’t remove cells from a body, if it would save someone.”
Should appendicitis not be treated? Should cancer cells not be removed from the body, even for biopsy? Should hair and nails not be cut? All of these remove cells from your body.
If you save a dying person, you haven’t disrupted any plan. That was the plan.
@8ZXN8HCConstitution3yrs3Y
No, and criminalize performing abortions.
@TruthHurts1012yrs2Y
It amazes me how you liberals are so passionate about the defending the lives of murders, rapists, thieves, and drug kingpins from the death penalty while you uphold the murder of the unborn not only as acceptable but as a positive good – even a right. I can’t help but wonder why when the lives of the very worst renegades of society are worth defending, what exempts innocent, faultless children from the same mercy and compassion. When helpless, defenseless, and voiceless babies are butchered by evil “doctors” in the womb, sometimes being torn limb from limb, you’… Read more
@9BYHRVG2yrs2Y
Marvelous points! I will be sharing with my pro-abortion friends!
@TruthHurts1012yrs2Y
Since you are liberals so passionate about defending the lives of murders, rioters, rapists, and drug dealers from the death penalty, I can't help but wonder why you make an exception for innocent, helpless children mercilessly butchered in the womb. Why do these evil, filthy people who have harmed our communities deserve to live in luxurious "prisons" while you not only do nothing about but actively promote via public subsidy the execution of those who have done no wrong and haven't even had a chance to open their eyes? What makes these innocent, helpless children any less deserving of the same life you advocate for the most filthy criminals of our time?
@9BYHRVG2yrs2Y
It's just sick what they do. Just sick!
@hardware_hankRepublican2yrs2Y
I couldn't agree more! It's wild how they'll bend over backwards to save a snail on a construction site, but when it comes to an innocent life in the womb, it's suddenly a different story. The priorities seem a bit skewed, don't you think?
@TruthHurts1012yrs2Y
Very, very skewed! Good analogy!
@8C4SN7W5yrs5Y
Pro-Life, but allow in cases of rape, incest, underage pregnancy, or danger to mother or child
@9F6VPJXConstitution2yrs2Y
This should not be a political/government issue
@9F4DZHBConstitution2yrs2Y
if you wind up in the situation that you are pregnant you should have to deal with it by having the child with the only exception being rape.
@9DDVJ5C2yrs2Y
@9D9JT7TConstitution2yrs2Y
It's not for me. But I will not tell someone what to do with there body.
@9D5HJKRConstitution2yrs2Y
Pro life unless the mothers life is in danger, rape, incest etc. But the government SHOULD NOT BAN ANYTHING NOR SHOULD THEY HAVE THE POWER TO BAN SOMETHING
@9Y7YDSHConstitution11mos11MO
I think from a biblical standpoint, it should be banned for everyone except rape and sexual assault victoms.
@9Y7S7TV11mos11MO
Pro-Life with exceptions for when the mothers life is at risk. Also with more social services, improvements to foster care, more available birth control, and all public high schools and universitys should provided sex education.
@9XSDTS8Republican11mos11MO
Only when the life of the mother is in imminent danger.Every reasonable effort to save the child should be made.
@9XNXVLSConstitution11mos11MO
It’s the choice of the individual. They have to live with whatever decision they make. It’s between them and God.
@9X4VDL3Constitution11mos11MO
I am mostly pro life and it makes sense because the baby did nothing to deserve the death penalty. it is debatable of rape victims and incest, but some things that are considered a abortion are not. and that being apposed is unacceptable.
@9WZQD8NConstitution11mos11MO
pro life even if the baby was made from trauamama, the baby is still one of Gods angels and we cant get rid of the lords angels.
@9WNFT7LConstitution11mos11MO
Should be allowed up to three months, but requires admission from the mother that it is the ending of a human life.
@9WHBS36Constitution11mos11MO
Pro-life however I believe if their are health issues and victims of rape and incest should be given this choice.
@9W734FV11mos11MO
Pro-Life, with Case by Case basis on Rape and Life of Mother. Incest is either rape or opening the door to aborting mentally challenged individuals.
@9VXVQBFConstitution11mos11MO
Pro-Choice, because the government should not regulate anyone with what they do with anyone's body. Abortion is an ethical subject, not a political one.
@9VPVMSBConstitution12mos12MO
Pro- life. Ban after 3 months. No Government funding. An abortion is an elective surgery and should be treated as such by a medical professional covered by medical insurance. Endangerment should be treated like a medical emergency. Abortion is not birth control. In cases of rape or incest or child pregnancy there are ways of preventing pregnancy. Make women feel safe to get these seeing how a lot of rapes go unreported
@9VBSLVBIndependent12mos12MO
Pro-choice but banned after the first three months except for victims of rape and incest, or danger to the mother of the child.
@9TKQYKK1yr1Y
pro choice up until three months but also provide birth control, sex education, and more social services
@9THY4Y2Constitution1yr1Y
there is a time period where I think it should be someones choice but after say about 5 mounths it is to late to abort the baby
@9TFYYHB1yr1Y
i belive your actions are between you and god and if you make choices that are bad and dont belive in god that your eternal punsishment will be death and seperation from god in hell
@9T2XBFQConstitution1yr1Y
Pro-choice. only if its after the first 3 months, a rape case, incest, or danger to the mother and or baby. It should still provide birth control, sex education, and more social services.
@9T2CCTH1yr1Y
I am a mix of Pro-life and pro-choice, I make exception for rape, incest, and I do not want abortion to be a form of birth control
@9T24KVF1yr1Y
You get pregnant that's your fault and you will have the baby. but in a certain situation such as rape? thats something that should be handled in court.
@9SWHKPRConstitution 1yr1Y
I am an abolitionist. They should be completely banded and everyone involved should be charged with the various levels of murder, manslaughter, etc.
@9SWDDYK1yr1Y
Pro life. No doctors should be forced to preform an abortion. Government needs to be less invasive in people’s personal life. There should be informed consent in all medical procedures.
@9SN64HZConstitution1yr1Y
that if a female is raped or forced then she has a right but if she does intentally or on substances then she has to take care of the child
@9RXJ5VGLibertarian 1yr1Y
Pro-choice, but the government should not be subsidizing Planned Parenthood.
@9P9796R 1yr1Y
Pro-life, and there should be more access to contraceptives, better access to sex education, and more social programs in place to support and aid pregnant women
@9NSQJZNConstitution1yr1Y
Legal abortion but greater push for birth control. Only insurance coverage for abortion, no taxpayer subsidy.
@9MVX2DZConstitution1yr1Y
Women should have the right to have access to the proper healthcare to deal with their own personal health problems. Abortion is sometimes just as necessary as a medical procedure as amputation. The government should not limit the amount of healthcare its citizens have access too.
@9M8HSX61yr1Y
pro choice, but varies for situation such as danger, rape, incest etc... and limited number of abortions allowed per person.
@9LZ38NDConstitution 1yr1Y
Give everybody one abortion, than no more unless in cases of rape, incest, or danger to the mother or child
@9LH3XDFConstitution1yr1Y
Abortion goes aginst the U.S. Constitution so either way it doesn't matter what my opinion is because one is your body and two banning it is aginst the Constitution..
@9L9K2TJ1yr1Y
Pro-Life, except when medical professionals have determined that the pregnancy would cause danger to the mother or child
@9L4CLW81yr1Y
Pro-choice, but tax payers should only pay for abortions that are medically necessary, or in the case of rape or child molestation.
@9KSNRNWConstitution2yrs2Y
Pro-choice, you choose to have sex so in those cases you shouldn't be allowed to have an abortions unless it's rape, complications or incest.
@9KLSRVWConstitution2yrs2Y
It should not be allowed you choice to make the decision and you should have to face the decision you made.
@9KK824ZRepublican2yrs2Y
I think not because they had there choice to have sex with a person and they get a kid. and if they do not want the kid, why did they know what the consequences were that they were gonna get the kid
@9K6X35DConstitution2yrs2Y
Both, as long as it's for someone who was forced to conceive and not for someone who just uses it irresponsibly and repeatedly.
@RicardoDavisConstitution 2yrs2Y
Pro-personhood, all innocent human life should be protected from homicide from fertilization to natural death
@9DQSKQW 2yrs2Y
Pro life, abortion banned after heartbeat can be heard, allowed in cases of rape or incest up until the end of the first trimester. Completely allowed if the mothers life is in danger.
@9JRR9Z5Constitution2yrs2Y
Pro-Choice, should have clearly stated restrictions. birth control, sex education, and more social services should be provided
@9JQKQSP2yrs2Y
It is my belief that if we as a country think that business and a job is a valid reason to bicker back and forth on killing a child then I think there'er more important matters to deal with the only time I feel it is right is when the mother in injeprity of dying and in the event she is a victim of a crime.
@9JNZFMT2yrs2Y
I believe that abortion should be available to those who have suffered sexual violence and asked if its their choice to keep the fetus alive or terminate it.
@9J7PL9HConstitution2yrs2Y
Pro life, but allow in cases of rape, incest, if the mother/child would be in danger, or within the first 3 months.
@9J6V3ZKConstitution2yrs2Y
Pro-life, and I oppose all abortions, and financial aid and other aid should be available for victims of any kind of rape.
@9HWRHQJConstitution2yrs2Y
Pro-choice but states have the right to determine banning laws. The individual then can choose where they want to live.
@9HRPT66Constitution2yrs2Y
Pro-life, but allow in case of rape, incest or life of the mother. Also provide birth control, sex education and more social services to reduce the number of abortions
@9HFDBY52yrs2Y
Pro-life, there are adoption agencies that are very helpful if a parent doesn't want a kid but if you are willing to have sex they should have to be aware that pregnancy is at risk
@9HBDBMT2yrs2Y
Pro-life, but should be available for underdeveloped high risk individuals, rape, incest, possible birth defects; case by case study
@9H9PW6KConstitution2yrs2Y
pro-life, but in cases of rape allow but other than that it is not the child's fault it was made so you shouldn't ruin a new life being made.
@9GWZW68Constitution2yrs2Y
Pro vasectomies…. reliable birth prevention, reversible, inexpensive, day surgery. No longer have to worry about unwanted births because men sleep around.
@9GMH9F9Constitution2yrs2Y
If a woman is raped they should have the right to an abortion, but they have to chose at the hospital
@9GDD9HS2yrs2Y
Not pro choice. I'm pro abortion. I want abortions to become to socially acceptable we talk about them during dinner and a woman gets multiple throughout her lifetime.
@9G8DPQZRepublican2yrs2Y
I do agree you shouldn't kill a baby when they have a heart beat at any age or any reason, but if you got raped or are under 18 yes i think you should be able to
@9G2LZKKConstitution2yrs2Y
Pro-life except in the cases of incest or the endangerment of the mother. Because its not the fault of the child that they were born from a cruel father or mother
@9FZJQL8Constitution2yrs2Y
Mostly pro-life but there are circumstances that can sometimes get better from an operation, although every loss is bad
@9FXTM892yrs2Y
Pro-life but pro-freedom, allow it just don't let tax payer money or planned parenthood pay for it. Allow it for medical reasons, rape, incest, or danger to the mother or child. If you want it, should be out of your own pocket.
abortion should be legal everywhere because it could be a result of rape, incest, unplanned, unwanted, accidental
@9FQNDHRConstitution2yrs2Y
Every American, living and unborn, has a right to life, and abortions take that right away before a person has the opportunity to live. Abortion should be made illegal nationwide, in every state. However, no part of the U.S. Constitution mentions abortion, as such, abortion laws should be made at the state levels, whether to ban or protect abortion. The federal government has no authority to make laws pertaining to abortion
@9FM62J5Republican2yrs2Y
Pro-life, but in cases where the girl is under 18 then they should be aloud to have an abortion, but if there over 18 then they have to deal with there choices they made, also if it was rape or is a danger to the mother then they can have an abortion as well.
@9FJ2W22Constitution2yrs2Y
Abolish abortion in all cases except the unlikely risk to health of the mother
@9FB7HJS2yrs2Y
Pro-life, but allow only in cases of danger to the mother or the child
@9F9878N2yrs2Y
Ban after 15 wks, except for incest, rape, endangerment of mother's life, or severe deformity that will be detrimental to quality of baby's life.
@9F8M96YRepublican2yrs2Y
I am pro life. I say abortions is somewhat okay if the girl was forced on or if it might come at risk to the mother or child, but if the mother in question willingly decided to engage in the actions that lead to a child, they should NOT be allowed to have an abortion. They brought it on themselves so they can live with the consequences.
@9F7VXPRConstitution2yrs2Y
As a man, I don't feel I have a say
@9F79QS2Constitution2yrs2Y
Morally: pro-life. Politically: this is a state/local issue and the states should determine legality.
@9F63Y7V2yrs2Y
Pro-life, except for cases of rape or cases of endangerment to the mother.
@9DXPBXHConstitution2yrs2Y
Government should regulate safety of those practicing medicine and all procedures should be dictated by the patient and their provider in all cases despite my personal beliefs of when life begins.
@9DXJ43LConstitution2yrs2Y
Pro-life, but I think it’s an debate won through education and culture, not legislation and bans.
@9DWT6M4Constitution 2yrs2Y
Pro life. However, if the life of the mother is in danger and the baby is more than likely going to die during birth then an abortion should be allowed to take place. Only in extreme cases.
@9DSJH5P2yrs2Y
As a state right, the people of the state should have the right to choose what is or is not legal.
@9DSCG5V2yrs2Y
if its cause of rape they do what they want. if it was unprotected sex then they cant abort it
@9DR5YQ42yrs2Y
Pro-Life, you should never take away a human life no matter what. If a mother does not want her baby for any reason , they should just put it up for adoption.
@9DLHWGJConstitution2yrs2Y
Pro choice, but cap it at 16 weeks.
@9DK8JB3Constitution2yrs2Y
Pro-life, but allow abortions up to 15 weeks.as long as it's not fu ded by the federal government.
@9DJW2SGConstitution2yrs2Y
Pro life, except in cases where mothers life is at risk
@9DGRXKJ2yrs2Y
Pro-life, but I don't agree that the government should be involved
@9DF8VN3Constitution2yrs2Y
Pro-life, only for rape/incest victims or if dangerous to mother within first 3 months
@9DCRMFL2yrs2Y
Yes but ban at 4.5 months, and I personally don't really like the idea but I think people should have the choice up u til 4.5 months after that I think the child is to far developed
@9DBWN5K2yrs2Y
I don't think it should be used like birth control but i support it but only for the first 8 weeks
