I do not agree with a helpless human life being ended purely because of any unfortunate circumstance which may have created that life. But I DO NOT agree that my beliefs should be FORCED upon another. Let each make their choices until science can factually determine when life begins.

Science has concluded that life begins at conception. I would accept the libertarian argument to let each person make their own decision regarding this issue if the same standard was applied to other issues by the left. The same people advocating for COVID vax and mask mandates argue that its not the governments position to rule on abortion. I believe this statement would be true if the idea of power to the individual was applied everywhere else. Unfortunately, its not so that's why I disagree with your statement.

Science does not factually determine when personhood begins, that is inherently a moral question which derives its answer from philosophical & theological pursuits. Life most definitely begins at fertilization from a scientific perspective, so abortion should be regulated by your logic. Saying that your beliefs should not be enforced comes from a place of moral uncertainty (or slothfulness). If you believe something to be true, is it not reasonable to enforce this? For example, if I am opposed to slavery, it is not only my right to end it but also my duty to end it. If you recognize abortion as evil and refuse to attempt to stop it, you are allowing libertarian ethics to interfere with what you know is good and righteous.

Libertarian ethics properly applied would be Pro-Life, by the way. Libertarians believe in non-aggression. Abortion is certainly aggression.

Engaged Abortion

Life doesn’t begin until you’re outside the womb, would you be willing to raise the fetus’ that would be aborted? Most people who are on the pro life side of this seem to care more about a fetus than the actual baby once it’s born. These the same people who would shame a single mother for raising a bastard child when they don’t know the full story and should keep to themselves…so on that last part, we can agree in earnest.

When does the heart start beating? THAT is the beginning of LIFE! Otherwise, I guess youre advocating for murder of babies up to the day (minus a second) until they are born. You are sick. Think of this - youre alive because someone was pregnant with a baby. And they chose to to terminate you...

adoption centers do exist and we should improve them instead of just killing the "fetus" which you call it which just is a dehumanizing word for unborn baby. and if life starts outside the womb does that mean you think location determines if you are alive or what because that makes no sense.

single cell organisms are alive. I think people have inherent speciesist tendencies that make it appealing to value human life more than the lives of insects or protozoa. Its not a question of life, but of whether the alive conglomeration of cells has rights that trump the mother's rights to bodily autonomy.

Bruh. What about the fetus's belief that his moms will should not be forced upon him.

Elizabeth Warren Walks Back Murder Comments

Congressional Democrats broadly denounced the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson Friday morning, after Republicans started accusing Sen. Elizabeth Warren of excusing violence.“No one's condoning this,” said Rep. Brad Schneider (D-Ill.). “Violence never is the right answer for anything. And it was a horrible murder, a tragic loss for his family.” Warren this week condemned the shooting, but added that people “can be pushed only so far.”"We'll say it over and over," Warren said on MSNBC’S “The ReidOut.” " Violence is never the answer. This guy [Luigi Mangione] gets a trial who's allegedly killed the CEO of UnitedHealth, but you can only push people so far, and then they start to take matters into their own hands."In a statement to POLITICO, Warren said, “Violence is never the answer. Period. I should have been much clearer that there is never a justification for murder.” Top Republicans denounced Warren's comments and the walked-back rhetoric, with House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-La.) calling it “inappropriate and dangerous.”Some House Democrats asked about the incident on Thursday pivoted the conversation to discuss policy options on health care or gun safety.“I don't really know that this is really a space that Congress normally weighs in on,” said Rep.
