How have your views on welfare and government support evolved over time?

 @9KCWN9S from California  answered…2yrs2Y

Welfare and government support should be evolving more to help the people of the United States of America.

 @9KC2Q4D from California  answered…2yrs2Y

Gov needs to be there but only in limited amounts. Not any more than it needs to be but needed when liberties are violated

 @9KC338T from California  answered…2yrs2Y

I don't completely agree with social liberalism. I think that people need the government in their lives because the government is used to make sure our country is stable and that the right decisions are made, without it we can't trust people with those decisions.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

What would you do if you saw someone being excluded from a group or activity due to their background?

 @9KYVB4Z from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

  @JcawolfsonGreen  from Pennsylvania  answered…2yrs2Y

In principle, it is rude to exclude someone based on their background. However, what constitutes background? Rejection based on mere identity is inherently wrong. But, certain past yet extreme actions, such as murder perhaps, would constitute valid rejection.

 @9KYTT53 from Utah  answered…2yrs2Y

First of all, that is unfair and needs to be changed. I would hope I would reach out to that person.

 @9KYVDVR from Virginia  answered…2yrs2Y

You should not judge someone based off of their past decisions now you don't have to be crazy and ignore it but I mean you can judge them and excluded them from things just because of a mistake they made earlier in life.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

In what ways has your community shaped your perspective on collective responsibility?

 @9LCJMZ4 from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

How does it impact you to know that in some places, healthcare is not guaranteed as a right?

 @9HMFRMG from California  answered…3yrs3Y

 @9HMFF4W from California  answered…3yrs3Y

Healthcare isn't even guaranteed here, the healthcare industry is for profit, not for the people, or else the Church of Scientology would've been abolished a long time ago and many other issues would be solved.

 @9HMFZ2Manswered…3yrs3Y

Knowing that low income households are not offered or not knowing how to register for free healthcare is concerning to me. It is almost as if they are being denied of their health.

 @9HMFB75 from Pennsylvania  answered…3yrs3Y

It makes me slightly concerned, however it is fine as long as I can access it somehow.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

Have you ever changed your mind about a social issue after hearing someone else's personal story?

 @9L4QNZXRepublican from Missouri  answered…2yrs2Y

No, I stand by what I believe and majority of the time it is very hard to change my mind.

 @9L4QDZSDemocrat from Missouri  answered…2yrs2Y

It depends, I have changed my mind on issues after hearing other sides of the story. So yeah I guess

 @9L4QHHX from Georgia  answered…2yrs2Y

I Believe the government shouldn't have a say in economy, but should be able to create a safe and equal world for everyone.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

What are your thoughts on the relationship between taxes and the quality of public services?

 @9KBRX7NRepublican from Illinois  answered…2yrs2Y

Its ok i feel like we do got a good amount of services for all sorts of things

 @9KBS8TD from Washington  answered…2yrs2Y

I think we should all pay our fair share. And use the taxes to provide basic necessities such as insurance and healthcare as well as food and housing to those who can't afford it or for all.

 @9KBS3Y5 from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

I think that taxes should be used to create better quality of life for everyone, not just those who live in higher tax brackets.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…3yrs3Y

Does a truly just society require government intervention, or can it be achieved through individual actions alone?

 @9HCQ5WW  from Florida  answered…3yrs3Y

I believe that it can be achieved through both. We need some government assistance in order to anything, but we are capable on doing things on our own after a little boost from our governments.

Can we have true freedom if some people are living in poverty, lacking education or healthcare?

 @9H95WR5 from Illinois  answered…3yrs3Y

No, if anyone is living in those conditions, they are not free. Which means that as long as those exist, true freedom cannot exist.

 @9H962M4answered…3yrs3Y

If people are not supported with the fundamentals that are needed for the basic quality of life, I believe that true freedom is not equally given to everyone.

 @9H95XMX from Maryland  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, there are plenty of opportunities for these people living in poverty

 @9H96Q8W from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

I do believe we can because the government should be in charge of giving these people a chance to better their lives because everyone has the exact same opportunity to fulfill the American dream.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…3yrs3Y

How should society balance the needs of the vulnerable with the rights of the individual?

 @9HMGN2T  from Arizona  answered…3yrs3Y

I do not think this is liberal vs conservative. This is compassion vs allowing suffering.

 @9HMGN7N from North Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

 @9HMGKB6 from North Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

i think that some aid should be given but not enough to allow them to live off of it which would make them work and actually contribute

 @ISIDEWITHasked…3yrs3Y

What's the most compelling argument you've heard against social liberalism, and what's your take on it?

 @9HMG98Z from Oregon  answered…3yrs3Y

Once again I don't know? All I've heard is blue hair, pronouns, and Brian Griffin. None of those really seem like anything really convincing me against them.

 @9HMG9F6answered…3yrs3Y

Hamas. I believe it's evil what they're doing, but this has been going on and on and now allow of a sudden the government wants to push for it to create a, "panic."

How important is it for governments to address climate change as part of social responsibility?

 @9JBMMMB from California  answered…2yrs2Y

It's important to address climate change because it could affect humanity in the long run.

 @9JBLL7SConstitution from California  answered…2yrs2Y

 @ISIDEWITHasked…3yrs3Y

If you were in charge, what is the one social issue you would tackle first and why?

 @9HMGPCSRepublican from Louisiana  answered…3yrs3Y

 @9H8PTSH from New York  answered…3yrs3Y

i think the governemnt should help the people in need but maxing out a income is dumb

 @9H8DTXS from Ohio  answered…3yrs3Y

I would be uncomfortable with that. I grew up with the ideology of independence and I would not be comfortable with the government restricting what I can do and earn, and also giving me a big part of my life.

How does the idea of a government ensuring fairness affect your sense of security?

 @9JFWHQBfrom Montana  answered…2yrs2Y

The government doesn’t know what fairness is, so I don’t trust the government to keep me secure. The government lets murderers and rapists of color free while arresting citizens for defending their lives & homes or businesses or using the “wrong” so-called preferred pronouns. The government is tyrannical in its adoption of radical neo-Marxist ideologies.

 @9JFWH4MLibertarian from Kentucky  answered…2yrs2Y

The government should not be responsible for ensuring fairness that issue begins in the individual level.

How would the availability of free higher education change your future plans?

 @RinghunConstitution from North Carolina  answered…2yrs2Y

The idea of 'free' higher education is impossible. Someone would be paying for it, generally through considerably higher taxes. The government should get out of the schools which would them help reduce the cost of the education, making it more affordable.

 @9JG9SGS from Florida  answered…2yrs2Y

I think free higher education will allot for mor individuals with tremendous skill sets to be able to obtain a living and better be able to take care of us as we age.
