Yes, however, Biden's botched withdrawal is the best example of how NOT to do it.

 @8X95KPYIndependent from Missouri  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, but it should have been done in a better manner that did not result in leaving equipment in the rush to leave

 @8R399VF from Virginia  answered…5yrs5Y

I believe that we should limit our involvement in wars that we don't have any part in, for there are many complications on either side. We could be harming innocents and worsening violence based on issues we only have a shallow understanding on, such as conflicts based on communism and oil. However, I do think that we should come together and prevent situations and protect people where injustice and crimes against human rights are being violated.

 @8VN2B9GIndependent from California  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, but with careful strategic plans to extract all who are Americans or Allies.

 @8VNLLX4 from New York  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8XH56DM from Indiana  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes but it needs an actual plan to get out without hurting allies and people that relied on us during that time

 @8XDFFD8 from Utah  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, well we pulled the majority of troops out. But we should have had a better exit strategy.

 @8WCNTTB from Connecticut  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, it’s not our problem anymore. If we were to stay, we mind as well make it a US territory. By now it is clear that the Afghan Gov was never going to survive without the US. We should continue counter-terrorism initiatives, but not from the country itself.

 @8W8XYFS from Georgia  answered…5yrs5Y

The United States should be able to pull military troops out of Afghanistan but they should not have pulled them now or anytime in the future. I still don't think that America has recovered from the 9/11 attack and we could be attacked again.

 @8XJ4Q6DProgressive from North Carolina  answered…5yrs5Y

I agree that they should have been pulled out but not as sudden as what happened

 @8WCPMQWLibertarian from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

Pull all troops out, all civilians, & then immediately glass the entire region.

 @8VSX3J9Democrat from Oklahoma  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, the US should not occupy any foreign land in peace keeping but instead shift focus to making countries self sustainable so they can defend themselves.

 @8R34KH3 from Virginia  answered…5yrs5Y

The majority with a skeleton crew to support peaceful transition, etc.

 @8FF8RJSfrom Vermont  answered…6yrs6Y

Yes, but pulling out needs to be done carefully. Civilians should be polled by US forces to assist in the formation of a stable government of their choosing, not the United States installing a leader that the civilians of Afghanistan disprove of.

 @cfa3002 from South Carolina  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8TMRXHH from Indiana  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, but keep intelligence and special forces to monitor and ensure that terrorist groups don't dominate the country and region and ensure that they are unable to plan an attack on the US and or its allies.

 @8QKL2GZ from California  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8Y5Z799Republican from Nevada  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8Y5V35M from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes but leave small groups of operatives behind to ensure a stable transition of power and prevent Taliban control.

 @8Y5THJN from North Carolina  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but only after we evacuate any citizen, both Americans and Afghans, who don’t wish to remain

 @8Y5RT7D from Pennsylvania  answered…4yrs4Y

President Trump's plan was sound and solid. Biden messed this up big time. 13 Marines died because of Biden's ignorance.

 @8Y5H8CP from Massachusetts  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8Y58S6H from New York  answered…4yrs4Y

No, but pull out most troops and leave some for humanitarian aid and basic protection

 @8Y56FMS from Minnesota  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8Y4DN97 from Georgia  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8Y4D42Y from Utah  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, but do so in a controlled manner that will protect all citizens and military there.

 @8Y433GB from Washington  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, but not the way it was done, leaving so many Americans and those who supported America behind.

 @8Y426KQGreen from Connecticut  answered…5yrs5Y

 @powertrial from Illinois  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, but not the way Biden did. They shoyld stick to Trump's original plan instead.

 @8Y3JTXY from Michigan  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes but equip Afghan people to fight and have a strategic withdrawl.

 @8Y3GBB5 from Utah  answered…5yrs5Y

 @mlsline from New York  answered…5yrs5Y

No, USA should have followed Trump's plan and left a small advisory force, retained Bagram, & evacuated people while maintaining control. Biden has created a humanitarian, financial, & military disaster.

 @8Y2VD95 from Wisconsin  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8XYN3WY from North Carolina  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8XYMY7V from Alabama  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes but not like how we did we needed to get everyone out there was no saving that place and take everything with us so that more people wouldn't die

 @8XYK44KIndependent from Virginia  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8XYDTCZ from Georgia  answered…5yrs5Y

No. While I understand the reason why people wanted to fully withdraw, it always leads to a power vacuum when American Troops completely pull out,

 @8XY6DQNSocialist from California  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, but slowly. Providing military and financial aid to the country is essential.

 @8XY39DZ from Colorado  answered…5yrs5Y

No, we should go back and restore democracy in Afghanistan and gradually replace our troops with Afghan troops.

 @8XXYY48from Virgin Islands  answered…5yrs5Y

I believe the USA should pull all military troops however it should be done slowly and strategically. The current evacuation plan was not done effectively and could have been handled better.

 @8XXVVWGRepublican from Wisconsin  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8XXRKPT from Pennsylvania  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, but try to keep the peace and provide aid if problems increase

 @8XXGD8V from Arkansas  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8XXDFBNfrom Maine  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8XXD6PV from North Dakota  answered…5yrs5Y

no, we should leave enough to support the local military and police

 @8XXB9FN from Kansas  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8XX4TLX from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes and No. We should have enough to help women and children, but they also are their own country.

 @8XX45GPRepublican from Arkansas  answered…5yrs5Y

Once the military is able to ensure safety and that equipment won't fall into the hands of terrorists, the United States should pull military troops out of Afghanistan.

 @8XWTSBL from New Mexico  answered…5yrs5Y

I would personally say that yes pulling the soldiers out of danger is a good idea and they can safely go back to their families and homes. But on the other hand, they are helping the people down in Afghanistan.

 @8XWN5M7 from California  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8XWG54RSocialist from Tennessee  answered…5yrs5Y

Decrease the amount of soldiers, but still have some remain in order to fight out potential threats from terrorist groups.

 @8XWDCTQ from Kansas  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8XW6RKSLibertarian from Kansas  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8XW3JQX from Virginia  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8XVZLRC from West Virginia  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8XVZ5JYRepublican from Georgia  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes but in a organized fashion. Evacuating immediately will result in Americans being left behind and terrorists being able to seize american military resources like guns, warfare machines, and bases. Their country will need more foreign aid then the Americans to help fight their major issue of terrorism. Too many Americans die fighting for a lost cause in Afghanistan and it cost too much money that could go to better spending.

 @8XVH3Z4 from North Carolina  answered…5yrs5Y

no not until the state is secured and able to resist terrorism on its own

 @8XV6PHMRepublican from Missouri  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8XV7SZ7 from New York  answered…5yrs5Y

No, but it should be a gradual withdrawal and not until terrorist threats cease in the region.

 @8XV62DQWomen’s Equality from Mississippi  answered…5yrs5Y

No, decrease the amount, and if possible everyone if it does not seem like it will harm the people of Afghanistan.

 @BrianHa31807845 from Virginia  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8XTWNH6 from Alabama  answered…5yrs5Y

I think it is time to stop policing for their country. We have given them the tools and training needed but they let everything fall back over.

 @8XTMMGX from Iowa  answered…5yrs5Y

I believe that with troops in Afghanistan, we were lost many men and woman from combat. If there is a good or resources still present in Afghanistan, I think we should keep troops there but, if there is nothing we need, pull all troops unless it hurts our trades with Afghanistan.

 @8XT4BWYDemocrat from Ohio  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, but all refugees have to have been removed from the country first.

 @8XSY5M8 from Oklahoma  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, but maintain operational security and retention of all assets, destroying all who interfere, and allowing al Afghans who aided America citizenship as they served our country like Veterans.

 @8XSS74G from Idaho  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, but in a proper way that will lead to the least amount of backfire and conflict.

 @8XSS546 from New Jersey  answered…5yrs5Y

No, We must fight terrorists on their own turf, not ours to ensure the safety of our citizens

 @8XSRTFZRepublican from New York  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes only after all American citizens have been given the chance to leave

 @8XSRJGV from Kansas  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8XSR9NY from Georgia  answered…5yrs5Y

After ensuring that the government could stand on its own, a procedural withdrawal would work best for removing troops from Afghanistan rather than a full scale withdrawal

 @8XSCS7M from Florida  answered…5yrs5Y

 @headcrabking from Nevada  answered…5yrs5Y

Not until we have finished our intended goal of establishing a new government

 @8XRQH8L from Connecticut  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, we shouldn’t even have been in Afghanistan in the first place.

 @8XRHZD5 from Michigan  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, but only the ones stationed at non-American facilities, keep the ones at the embassy and U.S Diplomatic used buildings in Afghanistan, and not until all U.S Citizens are evacuated with our equipment.

 @8XRCD7PLibertarian from New York  answered…5yrs5Y

Hindsight is 20/20 but seems like they should’ve reassessed the decision as the situatjon evolved.

 @8XRLKBW from South Carolina  answered…5yrs5Y

 @JScully from Ohio  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, pulling all military troops from Afghanistan should be done, but it shouldn’t have be done the way it was terrible

 @8XR9LXR from Kansas  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8XR4BR3 from California  answered…5yrs5Y

Only if it can be stable by itself but if it can't then we should leave troops there
