The use of gas in cars needs to be decreased so we can stop polluting air and increasing the risks that come with climate change.

 @B97MPM5Green from Colorado  disagreed…6mos6MO

I think if we make charging stations and electric cars more accessible then it will make the public more open to using cleaner forms of transportation.

 @BDT6VM7 from Connecticut  disagreed…4wks4W

people want to use newer, more electric efficient, no emission cars but wouldn't be able to if they couldn't charge their cars, and if it helps the environment, the gov't should support it.

 @BDNBP96 from California  disagreed…1mo1MO

electric cars are becoming more involved in peoples day to day and charging stations should be just as available as gas stations.

 @BBYRWRF from Florida  disagreed…4mos4MO

There are many more electric cars being released, so there should be more charging stations, especially so electric cars can make it longer distances.

 @BBV4M3F from Kansas  disagreed…4mos4MO

Investing in Electrics Vehicle charging stations allows long term energy costs and but also need to make sure everyone has access to the massive fuel savings of electric transportation.

 @BBV4DXH from Maine  disagreed…4mos4MO

If the government creates more accessible charging stations it will allow for the increase of electrical transportation rather than gas.

 @BBSGQZQ from Oklahoma  disagreed…4mos4MO

I think as our country grows and more people begin to use electric vehicles, these are going to be essential. You may not be on board right now due to the number of people who own them, etc. I think we need to get ahead of this rather than wait til the last minute and be behind.

 @BBSC4ZK from Texas  disagreed…4mos4MO

Charging stations are critical infrastructure and like much other infrastructure to get it started it may take government assistance to get it up and competitive so it can become commercially viable.

 @BBD2FNX from California  disagreed…4mos4MO

accessibility to electric vehicles will decrease there price and make the more climate friendly option more viable to middle class citizens

 @BB75LHF from Illinois  disagreed…4mos4MO

Hybrid and electric cars are on the rise, there is literally 0 point in not providing them with their source of fuel, the same way we have gas stations to fuel our cars.

 @BB4G7JL from Missouri  disagreed…4mos4MO

Although they also cause pollution from the start of their production, starting to bring them to the public can lead to advances in technology that can hopefully cut down on the pollution produced

 @B9TC32YProgressive from New York  disagreed…5mos5MO

If the government is spending too much on other issues, the electic vehicle charging stations would eventually break down and cause more spending by the tax payer.

 @B9LZ8CG from Utah  disagreed…5mos5MO

The only thing holding us back from energy independence is our own refusal to move forward with other fuel forms instead of gas.

 @B97RWPH from Nevada  disagreed…6mos6MO

Electric charging stations are more infrequent than gas stations and electric vehicles have been growing rapidly in use

 @B8QVFG5 from North Carolina  disagreed…7mos7MO

I would say that there should be more vehicle charging spots for people that have electric cars because there is not enough of them around here.

 @B8KNLGQ from Texas  disagreed…7mos7MO

The use of electric vehicles are positive to our environments. For those that own those vehicles, they should be able to have access to charging stations as much as gas stations for gas powered cars.

 @B8G7FQX from New Jersey  disagreed…8mos8MO

Why go against something that would help the country evolve to a more energy efficient state? If this this one of the options to transition into saving the environment and encouraging more young people to participate then why not?

 @B866YY4 from New York  disagreed…8mos8MO

It keeps society in a less developed state, building these stations allows for more inclusivity to EV drivers.

 @B84KVBK from California  disagreed…8mos8MO

If you agree with not having a network of electric vehicle charging stations, you are thinking in the past and need to move into the future. As time goes on, we all evolve, and technology will evolve for a better future. If we stay stuck in one specific time, we will never advance

 @B8336QJ from North Carolina  disagreed…8mos8MO

Vehicles can cause a lot of harmful emissions, so why not work towards a solution that can help our environment?

 @B82WQV7 from Indiana  disagreed…8mos8MO

My argument is that if we can have several gas stations every few miles for cars to operate then we atleast need charging stations in every city, for convenience of travelers. Electric vehicles are also becoming more popular which means that it would be best that charging stations are being put in.

 @BCCFSN9 from Georgia  disagreed…3mos3MO

Currently gas and oil prices are being controlled by foreign governments and all our wars are based in oil. Let’s stop giving our presidents a reason to bomb other people

 @BC6PX3Z from Minnesota  disagreed…3mos3MO

Electric vehicles have been around for years and have been used to help reduce pollution. Building clean charging stations is important in helping to make these cars esayer to use

 @BC2RMKHNo Labels from California  disagreed…3mos3MO

Electric Vehicle Charging Stations are a positive feature for our environment because of the number of mass produced electrical vehicles nowadays. This network of charging stations will benefit everyone who owns these cars, which are a very large number.

 @B97RKDF from Kansas  disagreed…6mos6MO

Not building EV charging stations actually costs more in the long run economically, environmentally, and socially than building them now.

 @9V8Q3ZK from Nevada  disagreed…2yrs2Y

As a whole, our country is trying to find ways to reduce global warming. Electric vehicles are much cleaner and release little to no pollution resulting in less pollutants in our atmosphere.

 @9FPMD5H from Texas  disagreed…3yrs3Y

I think that EVs are the future so it will be more beneficial to start building them now so that we can readily switch to a more climate-friendly future of vehicles. It would be irresponsible not to start building EV charging stations to prepare for the immense amount of EVs that will be build in the next 5-10 years.

 @9FFKSZ7 from New Mexico  agreed…3yrs3Y

Conservation of mass and energy. Carbon burned far away or within your car to make it go is still the same amount of carbon (accounting for different efficiencies)

 @9GCJK7Y from Colorado  agreed…3yrs3Y

I think a better alternative for now would be hybrid vehicles with smaller gas engines to charge the electric motor/s. And most of our electricity comes from coal power stations.
