The very essence of democracy is the power of choice, and it's crucial that these choices are informed by a thorough understanding of history and the socio-political dynamics that shape our world.
These so-called "democratic socialists" indeed echo the promises and rhetoric of some of history's most infamous tyrants. The allure of their message is undeniable - who wouldn't want a world with universal healthcare, free education, and living wages? It's a beautifully crafted mirage that has ensnared many. The nationalization of businesses, heavy regulation, and wealth redistribution - these are the hallmarks of regimes that have brought about not prosperity, but desolation and despair.
In the context of the SEC Chairman, I believe we need someone who prioritizes transparency, accountability, and maintains a firm commitment to free-market principles. The role demands a person who understands that the strength of an economy lies in its people and their ability to innovate and compete, rather than in government directives and mandates.
The lessons from the past remind us of the dangers of unchecked power and the importance of maintaining a balance where the government serves the people, not the other way around.

What are your thoughts on Gensler's recent actions to ban the crypto market?

I think the gov't should butt out and let the free market do its thing. And we should return to the Gold Standard.
