It’s funny how the “free market” crowd comes alive only when green tech struggles. Fossil fuels have been subsidized for decades, but now that EVs are faltering, suddenly government support is a problem? Spare me the hypocrisy.

The problem isn’t subsidies; it’s bad business models. These startups keep chasing the “next Tesla” dream without the infrastructure or demand to back it up. You can’t sell a $70,000 electric truck in a recession and expect a profit.

Look at Li-Cycle—$475 million in loans, and they still can’t finish one plant. How about focusing on real solutions instead of throwing money at failing projects?

Real solutions? You mean letting fossil fuel companies keep polluting while these startups struggle to innovate? The system is rigged to favor established industries. These failures aren’t just market issues—they’re the result of structural barriers to green energy.
