I would argue for the majority of the adult population, sex is a basic need for survival

Studies have proven the need for human connection as a whole and also the need for sex in relationships. There are vast physical and mental health benefits from sex, along with numerous mental health downsides to being in a sexless relationship, or in no relationship at all. Sex (more specifically reproduction) is quite literally the meaning of life after all. If you don't believe me, check in with any friend in a sexless relationship and see how they're holding up...

To rebut the statement of "when you play certain games, you win certain prizes", do you carry this philosophical argument to all forms of death in our modern society? Car accidents for example are a huge cause of death among all ages, cars aren't at all "needed for survival" by your definition, and they honestly aren't actually needed at all so should we ban them? Especially when alternatives exist and have existed since long before the invention of automobiles. Should we ban concerts because of moshpit and crowd surfing injuries? Should we ban guns because of accidents? After all, "when you play certain games (own guns), you win certain prizes (gun accidents)." I doubt you would support those arguments. For example, for the gun argument, you can, 100% own a gun safely and never have an accident. I personally am a gun enthusiast and a big supporter of the 2nd amendment and concealed carry. When you hear about gun accidents, you don't jump to banning them, you jump to education. Educate the people on the basic rules of gun safety/ handling. Educate parents on safe gun storage options to keep children out. Instill it in our culture to praise the safe ownership and handling of firearms for generations. Much like how if you were genuinely against abortions, you would advocate for sex education and birth control, which mind you has been proven to significantly reduce the rate of unwanted pregnancies, and thus the abortions that you are upset by. Look at the majority of anti abortion, typically red, states. They have little to no sex education and very high unwanted pregnancy rates. Compare that to more pro abortion states, they typically have much more robust sex education, and also teen and unintentional pregnancy rates. You could make the argument correlation doesn't equal causation, but as I have already mentioned, sex ed has been proven, (causative), to reduce accidental pregnancies.

Other people have already heavily covered rape, grooming, incest and so on so I won't cover those topics.

To keep my response short, No sex in not a need for survival you won't die without sex certain people may feel like it or may feel depression without it but in reality it is mainly the result of pornography watching for if you look at the past many people had gone most of their lives without sex or need of it it is the modern society that has corrupted the population to normalize sex without commitment causing those whiplashes of needing sex but in reality its not a basic human nessesity to live a normal life.

Elizabeth Warren Walks Back Murder Comments

Congressional Democrats broadly denounced the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson Friday morning, after Republicans started accusing Sen. Elizabeth Warren of excusing violence.“No one's condoning this,” said Rep. Brad Schneider (D-Ill.). “Violence never is the right answer for anything. And it was a horrible murder, a tragic loss for his family.” Warren this week condemned the shooting, but added that people “can be pushed only so far.”"We'll say it over and over," Warren said on MSNBC’S “The ReidOut.” " Violence is never the answer. This guy [Luigi Mangione] gets a trial who's allegedly killed the CEO of UnitedHealth, but you can only push people so far, and then they start to take matters into their own hands."In a statement to POLITICO, Warren said, “Violence is never the answer. Period. I should have been much clearer that there is never a justification for murder.” Top Republicans denounced Warren's comments and the walked-back rhetoric, with House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-La.) calling it “inappropriate and dangerous.”Some House Democrats asked about the incident on Thursday pivoted the conversation to discuss policy options on health care or gun safety.“I don't really know that this is really a space that Congress normally weighs in on,” said Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas). “But at the end of the day, I think it’s an opportunity, because now people are talking about health care and to talk about the fact that this industry has honestly not been as helpful as it could be.”“Violence is never the answer,” said Rep. Troy Carter (D-La.). “We know that there are people suffering, there’s great challenges in healthcare. There's great challenges, and people have, in fact, been wronged, but a process of governance is the way to address that, not violence.”And Rep. Ted Lieu (D-Calif.) who denounced the murder, said the killer should be prosecuted and that “I do know that allegedly a ghost gun was used, and we should also ban ghost guns. There's no reason for them beyond the streets.”
