Yes, and they should be able to plant their crops whenever they please without being regulated by the government

No. As a corporation it is their duty to help the economy. Definitely give more incentives but not allow them to remove taxation completely on tools.

 @BDL9BNC from Florida  answered…1mo1MO

Yes but only for residents of Florida with a Florida birth certificate

 @BDDQNBX  from Florida  answered…2mos2MO

Yea but only for certain sized industries and local farmers. Large companies should be taxed

 @BCXSDTG from Florida  answered…2mos2MO

Yes but not hobby farms or properties people use to exploit this as a loophole

 @BCQ8WWW from Florida  answered…3mos3MO

Public farms and agritourism providing for communities should be exempt, private farms and agritourism should not be exempt.

 @BC6DZDH from Florida  answered…3mos3MO

Yes, getting rid of property tax is fine if we still have income for our local area from the government.

 @BB77CFG from Florida  answered…4mos4MO

Yes, there should be some exemption for farmland and equipment, but agritourism is a commercial company and not a farm, so should not be exempt.

 @B9WKQG8Progressive from Florida  answered…5mos5MO

depends on if the equipment is used to farm as a means of living/work, or is just there for convenience or etc.

 @B9V4KTQ from Florida  answered…5mos5MO

Yes, though proper vetting methods should be in place to ensure it is not used as a way to evade taxes.

 @B99KZ3N from Florida  answered…6mos6MO

No, it allows big corporations to buy large plots of land that can't be taxed, then develop it into unaffordable housing

 @B8QXPMMWomen’s Equality from Florida  answered…7mos7MO

Depends on how much tax a business can pay. For smaller businesses, lower tax. For bigger businesses, higher tax.

 @B8GMW8P from Florida  answered…7mos7MO

No because then manufactures are giving away their product but they should be kept at a fair price because they are benefiting the nation.

 @B8GK7MD from Florida  answered…7mos7MO

I think it should be limited but not exempted to allow both sides to win a little. Still revenue without crushing farming with property taxes.

 @B8986RJ from Florida  answered…8mos8MO

I consider that Florida ought to exempt farm and agritourism equipment from property taxes since it supports farmers and rural growth, but it maybe also decrease local revenue. A fair strategy could focus relief to only small farms.

 @B87FJQR from Florida  answered…8mos8MO

Yes, but with strict regulations to ensure no fraud can be committed.

 @B85G3CNRepublican from Florida  answered…8mos8MO

 @B8JC8DP from Florida  answered…7mos7MO

Yes, because it helps the farmers. Florida gains a lot of revenue through tourism, I believe it'll be fine without taxes on farm tools.

That is a Florida relation, it should be the states decision to decide and the people of that state.
