Yes, because the managers are only liable to make a legal sale of firearms to their customers. If they make an illegal sale, they can be held liable. But if the sale of the gun is made legally, they are no longer responsible for what that person does with their newly bought property.

It's the same logic that if someone gets killed by a drunk driver. The people making the alcohol or the car doesn't get sued because the person made the decision, not the company.

It is the person holding the gun. Never the person or people that made it. Cause and Effect type situation.

I agree 100% the sellers and manufacturers have noting to do with the choice of people who choose to negatively use the weapon for violent purposes
