Yes correct, there drastically needs to be an increase in wages, but the minimum wage is not fully designed to be a completely livable wage within itself. I believe it is there to protect employees from being completely exploited for their labor which companies and corporations love to do in our current system.

I completely agree with you. I’m in college and work a part time job, the only reason I’m still able to work and go to school is because I’m able to live at home. If I didn’t it would be much harder to live.

I agree that the minimum wage is not at a livable rate, people are starving and over-exhausted from trying to make ends meet.

I completely agree with this comment, they should raise minimum wage, just as they continue to rise the prices on foods, health care, basic necessities. Otherwise how are we supposed to afford it.
