I agree because that IS the person's fault who bought the gun, but the original owner should've communicated everything there is to know about the gun, if that isn't conveyed then that is both of the people's fault.

The previous owner should have little to no fault but all of the fault should go to the current owner, the current owner is at fault for misusing the item.

I agree that if you are the holder of the gun or are the one who committed the crime, you should be liable.

I agree, it couldn’t be the fault of a seller if the purchaser is the one using it. Like if someone buys a gun and commits a murder, it would be the fault of the person committing the murder, not the person who sold it.

correct unless you didn't go through the back round check regulations

There should be some accountability. When buying a gun off someone you need to make sure that the gun is in good condition AND is safe for a new buyer to use it. If the gun is good to go, there is no issues, no potential reason for the new owner to be hurt by it then yes, if they are hurt that is on them. YOU need to make sure as the original owner it is in good condition to sell or give to another owner.

Yes i agree it it’s not the previous owners fault if you inflicted pain on yourself with the gun you bought off
