I believe that increasing minimum wage will make everything also more expensive as the value of miney goes down.

 @B8SBZQK from California  agreed…7mos7MO

I think it would help reduce poverty, but it is also important to consider the impact on small businesses and the cost of living.

 @B8SZYLK from Georgia  agreed…7mos7MO

i agree. the cost of living continues to increase but minimum wage has been the same. people cannot afford to keep up with the cost of living with the current minimum wage

 @B8RS24X from California  agreed…7mos7MO

minimum wage families with children should have an above average wage depending on the size of the family

 @B8S2HG7  from New Mexico  agreed…7mos7MO

Yes, as of now, the minimum wage is far too low for an individual to live on. People are barely getting by if they're lucky as is. Costs on various things have more than tripled, and the minimum wage continues to stay the same. If this is not resolved properly, many citizens will be condemned to poverty with no way out.

 @B8RNNRT from Arizona  agreed…7mos7MO

I agree because the cost of groceries, gas, taxes, payments and housing, it is almost impossible to live off of a minimum wage paycheck. The minimum wage workers get paid should be able to easily support them.

 @B8T39DQ from California  agreed…7mos7MO

Yes, if people can actually live off what they are making, they will be more able to contribute more to overall economic activity.

 @B8WW5DX from Arizona  agreed…7mos7MO

I think that the minimum wage should be raised a bit for the fact that everything is going up now days and it doesn't seem to get cheaper so those who work minimum wage should be given more of a chance and raise.

 @B8S8BMR from Florida  agreed…7mos7MO

yes i do agree with a boost in minimum wage because the economy is constantly rising so it wouldn't make sense if the wage would decrease.

 @B8RQ6KG from Arizona  agreed…7mos7MO

i agree with this because i wish to go through the world without the economy falling apart as i enter adulthood

 @B8ST3YG from Texas  agreed…7mos7MO

I agree, I am a teen and will be in need of a way to live on my own in the near future. This would help greatly.

 @B8S9VTB from Kansas  disagreed…7mos7MO

It will definitely help some people in the community, but in the bigger picture it does not do the community good. For example, there are so many people that worked so hard to create their businesses but now if they don't pay their employees as much as a big company they will leave because it is higher paying. This causes so many businesses to collapse after working so hard to create them. It also leads to fewer jobs because all of these small businesses that people worked for before won't be there anymore because it will collapse.

 @B8RN5VW from Arizona  disagreed…7mos7MO

The raise of minimum wage would drastically effect people, it would lead to job loss, inflation and would effect small businesses.

 @B8VKSHK from Wisconsin  agreed…7mos7MO

I agree, not only would it help people, the community, and the poverty around it, but it would stimulate the economy by literally giving people more money to spend.

 @B8S9W6ZDemocrat from Virginia  agreed…7mos7MO

I think it just goes without saying that making more money would only benefit people especially in an economy where prices are inflating by the second.

 @B8SSW75 from Kansas  agreed…7mos7MO

i agree with this comment as it would help people in the long run as pay is staying the same but our economy is going up.

 @B8SKG99 from Texas  agreed…7mos7MO

I significantly agree with this statement, if the federal minimum wage increased the poverty level would decrease

 @B8RYPMG  from Maryland  agreed…7mos7MO

I agree because "minumum wage" is now below minumum in this economy and does not give sufficient funds to maintain a somewhat stable life
