I agree, we shouldn't meddle with dangerous entities in other countries if we don't want to get into trouble ourselves. Declaring a drug war on the cartel would cause a lot of trouble in our own country.

I personally think we should offer our help and offer our resources to assist but if they refuse then we can respect that but when they come back we can still help them

I agree with your stance, but not your reasoning. The drug cartels are something that involve us also, but to fight them is a huge risk for our nation.

Even if mexico doesnt want U.S. help, the effcts of cartel violence dont stop at the border, they directly impact americans through drug trafficking, fent deaths, and illegal firearms .

I neither agree nor disagree with these statements. I feel that we should offer our help to Mexico if they need it, whether it may or may not look like they need the assistance or not. I agree that we shouldn't force out help on others but we should offer it to others if they do in fact need our help.

that is correct, but since most of the cartels are abusing power and are taking over control of certain places of mexico so that they can take their money, the only reason why mexico doesn't want help is because most of the government is sided with the cartel because they threaten and try to hurt their own family so they are scared and if they were to need help we should help them but they are scared to ask for help.

The Cartels have increased in size and strength if the Mexican government had the ability to fix its faulty aspects it would have done so already.
