When the minimum wage goes up, Workers are often laid off or have their hours reduced, meaning they make less money and get more government money. Furthermore, the higher cost of doing business leads to higher prices which raise the cost of living.

Raising the minimum wage puts more money in workers’ pockets, which can lift many people out of poverty and reduce how much they need to rely on government assistance. It’s not just about higher pay it’s about helping people meet basic needs and strengthening the overall economy

Agreed, with inflation rates and rent increasing, most people aren't even able to eat while affording housing.

I do not agree with minimum wage beause thats not fair for poor people like we should make the minimum wage for highschoolers how it is and raise it for people who are working two jobs
