Abortions should be reduced as much as possible, but banning them does more harm than good

Life is precious. The majority of abortions happened when somebody willingly had sex but didn't want to deal with the consequences. Killing a baby off just to make one's life more convenient is not ethical.

Babies are human from conception and should be given the right not to be murdered before birth. We should teach people the consequences of unprotected sex to protect them from wanting to murder a human.

Life starts at conception and the only way an abortion should even be conciderd is when the mothers health is seriously threatend by the birth of the child.

We should ban abortion because we say all lives matter than kill a baby. And it doesn't matter if its not fully developed it's still a human life and a baby has the same rights as us. murder is illegal but killing a human baby is legal? It doesn't make sense.

Relying only on education and birth control may not reduce abortions enough. Some people argue that stronger legal limits are needed to protect fetal life and ensure abortion is not used as a routine option.

My thoughts on abortion is that they should only be allowed when the mothers life is threatened, rape, incest, etc.

An abortion is still killing a life. That baby is a life and any "choice" of killing a baby should be charged as murder.

The growth of abortion rates shows that it's used as a quick exit ticket from dealing with the inconvenience of a child.

How can we define the circumstance in which an abortion is "necessary" if there are little regulations regarding it and it's restrictions?

Many young couples know about the risk of having a child due to unsafe sex but still decide to, giving young couples more access to safe sex like condoms and reducing the risk of ever having a child and having to get an abortion

I think we should get rid of abortions completely because you did the deed so you should take up your actions and deal with the consequences

We should be educating our next generation about moral virtues like chastity and being careful with our bodies; but abortions are never truly "necessary" in the case of someone fooling around and getting pregnant. Unless there is genuine cause for such a procedure to be carried out - like the pregnancy being fatal for the mother and child, it should not be terminated.

I don't think it abortion does more harm than good because that's just killing somebody before they get a chance at life

I believe it should be banned. The only way to get an abortion would be if the baby were to kill the mother and itself when the mother is giving birth, other than that, absolutely no abortion

With abortion im my opinion it is wrong because your choosing whether or not you want to end someone's life and i find that very wrong so i would say its wrong but in the cases of incest or rape i find the option of abortion ok in those cases but no other type of case other than those listed.

Although there can be more education and birth control readily available, that doesn't stop people from doing what they want and birth control is not 100% effective.

The natural state of humans is that they will do what you let them get away with and abuse all privileges you give them, people can grow out of this kind of behavior, but there are reasons for laws to prevent crimes; because people will commit them. Laws are an incentivisation of sorts to not commit said crime. We have the law that says don't murder people, we don't make that legal because it will "do more harm than good"

I agree. Banning abortions just puts women at risk as a whole. Whether if a woman can’t have baby due to medical reasons or if she just simply doesn’t want to/doesn’t have the resources to provide care. Women have the right to choose to have a baby or not. Furthering sex education, and giving people easy access to contraceptives will only help.

Women need the ability to have abortions. There need to be regulations but outright banning it is cruel. I firmly believe that all pregnancies should be able to be terminated prior to the third trimester. The bible is often used to combat abortions by conservatives, by this logic we can apply Genisis 2:7 "And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils …"

I agree with this statement, I believe the education of birth control, and sex will result in less abortions as well. Women have every right of what they do with their body no matter the circumstance, with pregnancy not only is the baby at risk, but so is the mother and if the women is not ready then that should be respected. Shes doing the best for herself.

I agree on the harm of banning abortion, however its´s a woman´s choice to abort if they want, medically or not.

Abortion is up to the women. Women have the right to their own bodies. Women shouldn't have regulations on their sexual rights just because they have a womb. Women are worth more than what their body can contribute to society.
