I agree with teaching more sex ed, but I believe all abortion should be illegal. It kills innocent babies and murders lives that could be so beneficial. No baby is a curse and if you were in that position, would you want to be killed and have your future taken away by someone irresponsible or someone who doesn't want you? Put the kid up for adoption if you don't want it. Anything but murdering a life.

They should not have sex if they don't understand and start taking responsibility for their orgasms and pregnancy.

 @BB3M9YC  from Texas  disagreed…5mos5MO

We should not let women have abortions, and we should make it illegal. life starts at conception, and abortion is murder. women know the consequences of having unsafe sex, they can't rely on abortion when something goes wrong.

The abortion debate is a morality question. It depends on at what point we assign more weight to the child's right to live than the mother's choices about her health, bodily autonomy, and reproductive rights. There is no hard scientific answer; people will set this threshold differently based on their understanding of what is moral. The best answer is to stand on your own beliefs, since that's all the other side can do as well.

While this argument has some good points, it is important to understand that once someone becomes pregnant, they are in the process of developing a human which will go on to live their own life. It is the responsibility of people to know what the consequences of their actions are and that they cannot sacrifice a life to cover up a mistake of their own.

I would entirely agree with the sex education stance, but instead of encouraging sex through "safe sex" ideals, we should teach that children are a natural byproduct of sex. If you are unwilling to have a kid, do not have sex. Just because it was an accident does not make a human life any less valuable. If your plan is to not have children, contraceptives should be openly available, but being knowledgeable of the chances those contraceptives fail is important. Also, sex education is widely understood in the United States. Everyone knows how babies are made. Reminding people how babies are made will not necessarily decrease unplanned pregnancies.

We shouldn't have abortions since the baby is a human. It is murder. Is it morally right to kill a baby? There is no difference between a fetus and an infant. If your argument is that the fetus depends on their mother therefore it is right to kill, think about this. Many adults and elderly rely on a pacemaker, therefore should we kill them? No, because they are a human and killing is wrong. You don't just happen to get pregnant. It is part of your choice. You need to control that. Sex is a choice, and that choice creates babies, so if you aren't ready for a baby, how about you just don't have sex.

 @BB3Q7PZ from North Carolina  disagreed…5mos5MO

Many women who get pregnant on accident already know the process of safe sex and choose not to abide by it. It is a common thing within the US education system, for women to be educated on how to prevent it and the proper way to do things. With that being said if they choose not to abide by that and a pregnancy is the result I do not think they should be able to get ride of it. There is many different options if they do not want to keep the child that do not end in the termination of the pregnancy.

I think that women should be educated about sex and how to plan or prevent pregnancy. However, I do not think that abortions should be freely available. I understand the hurt that comes from a pregnancy from rape, but I think that the baby needs the option to live a life. I'm happy that my mom chose to have me and I believe that babies were made with purpose by God.

While I agree that women she be taught about safe sex, it still won't prevent accidents, and many women will likely still disregard the education, for example we get taught about safe sex in health class, yet you still see an increasing rate of teenage mothers. Also birth control has been scientifically proven to disrupt the hormonal health of women and has many side effects. Lastly I believe that every baby should have a chance to live , and I think it is selfish to receive an abortion purely based off of your poor decision. However in the outlier cases of pregnancy in very young children or rape victims I do believe that if the mother decides to do so then they should receive an abortion.

 @BB494Q3 from Alabama  disagreed…4mos4MO

It is not always their choice. While yes, this is a true statement. They do not always have a choice in the matter. It is also not only the woman’s choice. If we are gonna educate the women, we should hold the same standards to men.

 @BB4FVXV from Florida  disagreed…4mos4MO

Sex is not something that is required to live, it is important that we educate on sex but it does not take away from the act of terminating a life. Regular Sex allows our society to become reckless and desensitized to something special allowing abortion is allowing people to avoid the consequences of their reckless actions. If we educate on sex people are less likely to take these actions.

 @BB3NHTJ from New York  disagreed…5mos5MO

Some people believe abortion ends a potential life, which raises serious moral concerns.They argue that instead of focusing on abortion, we should provide more support for mothers and promote alternatives like adoption. They also believe preventing pregnancy should be a shared responsibility between man and woman.

 @BB3RV2W from Pennsylvania  disagreed…5mos5MO

I think many unprepared people are participating while not understanding the consequences, safe sex is taught at school and i think you should know what could happen before you do.

 @BB4YKSKRepublican from Pennsylvania  disagreed…4mos4MO

I believe that you should not kill a poor baby because you made a bad choice and became pregnant when you didn't want to be.

 @BB3MYCKRepublican from Pennsylvania  disagreed…5mos5MO

I believe it is not just the women's responsiblity , and sometimes you can try to prevent it, but things aren't 100% effective. So therefore, Abortion should be an available resource to anyone and that is per individual and circumstances choice to make about they're care.

 @BB3MTJ6 from New York  disagreed…5mos5MO

I agree with this so I do not disagree, but I do want someone to limit the amount of abortions that can take place. If someone is having multiple abortions a month without any reason, I believe it's pushing the limits.

 @BB4H5GR from Nevada  disagreed…4mos4MO

This is a red herring, the argument is about abortion, not access to sexual education. This claim does not address why we should allow abortions.

 @BB4MRFT from Texas  commented…4mos4MO

This response is the most accurate. Sex ed and abortions are apples and oranges. However being irresponsible with your personal decisions shouldn't have a negative effect on society as a whole.

 @BB3N6VWRepublican from Illinois  disagreed…5mos5MO

Why is a life beat on earth any different from a life beat on earth. Its still a human that is being killed. And 1/3 of gen z DIED to abortion

 @BB3PJ7Y from Colorado  commented…5mos5MO

It doesn't matter if the woman was being safe or not, the abortion centers are killing humans.

 @BB63J87Republican from North Carolina  disagreed…4mos4MO

What about abstinence until you are ready for the responsibility of kids? What about not sleeping around with multiple people? You can't just walk away from your responsibility and expect it not to have any aftereffects.

 @BB3MJZ4Republican from Wisconsin  disagreed…5mos5MO

I think that Abortion should be Illegal because no matter what happened, women are wasting human life by killing the babies inside of them, and life begins at the stage of conception, not when the baby is "A clump of cells."

 @BB62DZJPeace and Freedom from Washington  disagreed…4mos4MO

 @BB3NQ23 from Florida  disagreed…5mos5MO

I agree with this, because let's say the baby connects to the fallopian tube instead of the umbilical tube. In that case, the mother should absolutely have the right to get an abortion. Besides, the baby won't get a chance to live either way. So it is better to save one life than none. Women should also be taught about safe sex so they don't get themselves into danger.

 @BB4TN2R  from Texas  agreed…4mos4MO

I pretty much agree with this statement. Abortions should be legal, but if the government provided sexual education and contraceptives, there would be less of a need for abortions because women would be taught how to prevent pregnancy when having sex.

 @BB3NPLD from Texas  disagreed…5mos5MO

I believe that we should teach young girl not to have sex and that there consequence for your actions.
