You also say that only 1% of abortions happen when fetus's are viable. That means that 1% of perfectly viable children are being slaughtered. How can it be moral to kill a child? That child has so much potential. We cannot just throw a child away because the mother made a mistake. We need to the best of our ability support the mother and help her to raise the child in a good environment. If our country is able to offer facilities to kill children, we should be able to offer facilities to help raise children. Taking a life is a serious crime. An abortion is taking a life.
