Whilst lab-grown meat may seem more ethical, in some people's eyes, this process can be far more expensive than farming livestock. Not only this, but livestock also better supports the free market, as the ease of entry is far... easier... when it comes to caring for livestock, than to growing meat inside a laboratory. To make matters worse, the lab-grown meat lacks the extra vitamins and minerals that are found in the meat of livestock that have been raised to completion, often gained from feeding or even emotional processes, which is why farmers try to reduce stress on animals.

I agree with the Author because with lab grown it may be more ethical the fact that it will never same compared to a live cow because in the lab you may not know any errors with the meat if it has gone bad and foul to others because it was made in a lab compared to a cow you are able to tell when it is sick.

To begin I am not a believer of lab grown meat, it makes me uncomfortable to say the least. Its not natural. I partially agree that lab grown meat is currently more expensive and requires specialized technology, which makes it harder for small producers to enter the market compared to traditional livestock farming. Cost and scalability are real challenges right now. However, some of the other claims are still being studied.
