People are allowed to have different opinions racism is wrong but it is good to understand that there will be people who don't agree and you shouldn't be forced to have the same opinion as someone else

Many of these teachers would be very biased to their own opinions and these kids do not need to be fed misleading information.

I believe that growing up teaching kids their ancestors did something wrong or that their ancestors were victims is wrong because every person has a chance to be great right now and we shouldn't have people believe that they can not be the next big thing because of their race or sexual orientation. I am white but I grew up surrounded by other races. If you teach kids that they should not be friends you are hurting their future relationships with people who think or look differently than them. You are sheltering them by not letting learn to find their own conclusions rather than adults telling them what they should think and who they should be friends with

We should not encourage them to be separate because of our ancestors. We need to protect our children from the hatred we created. Not by making them feel bad, but by uniting them. United we stand, divided we fall.

No; bullying, hurting, abusing,etc. is not okay, no matter the age, gender, sexuality, etc. and the idea you wish to put children through it to "toughen the up" is wrong and immoral.

I agree that kids should learn about the real world but at the same time you should limit what you teach them.

It is very important that kids know the troubles of the past and know how we got to where we are today

Conversely, those who support including CRT-informed perspectives argue that it provides a more accurate, honest, and comprehensive understanding of American history, helps students identify s

Kids should not be sheltered to the horrific reality of American history because slavery wasn't a soft reality for black people during that time period.

 @BC6P7XD from North Carolina  agreed…3mos3MO

I agree, because when kids grow up they will realize and be hit hard but if we start them young they can grow up better expecting whats to come and be ready for it.

 @BC6V9PP from Illinois  disagreed…3mos3MO

If children learn the terrifying reality of the world, then their childhood will be ripped away from them. They will live in constant fear about the present and future even though they can’t do anything about it.

Critical Race Theory is a political football created by a guy trying to sew chaos in Virginia elections. People on the right grabbed ahold of it, but cannot explain what it actually is. They should try educating themselves on how laws on races were put in throughout America. One example is redlining.
