I agree with this. Telling kids at a young age that some think that they are better and others are worse simply because of skin color will only set in their minds a seed that grows into them having a bias towards or against someone for no reason beyond their skin color. Critical Race Theory is not agreed upon by everyone and should not be taught as if it is fact.

I agree. Children are very impressionable and do not need to grow up thinking that are worth more or less than anyone else.

They already grow up thinking that because their parents are fueling the fire and feeding them lies about another race/person. The only way to stop history from repeating itself is to learn about it and understand where things went wrong.

they should instead learn about the horrors of racism during highschool when they are more developed and can understand the topic

No, while that stance does have weight behind it, it is more important to teach the subject because it will prevent such things from happening in the future as part of the lesson plan does include why it was wrong and why it should never happen. When we know our past it is easy for us not to replicate and make the same situation.

Children should not learn about Critical Race Theory until 6-12 grades, as stated that the brain is only developing and gathering a hold on concepts of ideas and political problems. If CHILDREN learn about the topic early on, starting in elementary, they will grow to believe others are better because of race. It would be better to teach teenagers or tweens about the topic because they can surpass the idea of a person is better due to race.

CRT- informed education is not about teaching racist ideology"but rather teaching a complete and accurate history systemic structure

Critical race theory is an important topic to be taught in public and private schools so we as a country can raise a generation that recognizes and can prevent our past failures with racism and discrimination.

You’re argument is that children shouldn’t learn about the true cruel history of their ancestors and that’s just not true. no matter which side your family was on it should still be taught as it was and the lies that have been told for decades should be debunked at the base which is classrooms
