Why THE **** should we nationalize and get the federal government involved in lab grown food

I believe the federal government should be involved because lab grown meat could lead to health risks that aren't worth risking in a growing society. If not watched carefully, we could end up eating lab grown meat that could lead to cancer being at higher risk, which is what we already struggle to cure.

I do not think lab grown meat is good and I strongly hate the idea and oppose lab grown meat along with meat with preservatives loaded in it. Why would we poison the meat that should be healthy just because it looks like it tastes better

I feel like we shouldn't have lab grown meat at all because from what I know is that it has increased causes of cancer and is banned in europe.

i agree with this statement because the government should not be implementing or helping the process of lab grown meat, but instead fund the resources for natural meats

i agree, it could be really bad for our bodies and decrease our health rather than having natural beef.

I think that Lab Grown Meat isn't very necessary because there is already natural meat all over the world.

Lab Grown meat is terrible for society and human health. Really nothing should be consumed to that degree if it’s made in a lab and the government should prohibit the making of it.

No, if anything the government would make sure our food was quality. Companies will make it as cheap as possible, and without supervision and regulations that's pretty sketchy.

i do not think lab grown meat should be a thing, it is not something we need, no matter how much we feel the need to mass-produce things, it is not something that should be sold nor should it be consumed by any person or any animal.

Lab-grown meat is the worst thing society has ever thought of. Farmers and ranchers are the backbone of American culture and economy. Promoting and funding lab-grown meat takes away from those who spend their livelihood making sure our country is fed. An emphasis should be placed on restoring American cattle herds, bringing down input costs to ranchers, and making beef cheaper for consumers.

I agree with them. I don't think the government should be involved in lab grown food, but I just don't think that lab grown food should be a thing at all. Who knows what they are putting in that stuff.

Lab grown meat is putting civilians at risk for many diseases and other health problems that can possibly cause death.

Why would any sane government allow the authorization of lab-grown meat? No government should be involved in shady activities in the food we eat every day!! Our food should be mandated to be made without stupid added colors and harmful and cancerous additives to preserve shelf life or make it look better, who cares!

Keep food NATURAL!!! There is no reason is American citizens should be risking their health and fitness over lab grown foods when we can easily keep farms running and grow more crops and produce that way.

I agree with this statement because lab grown meat is outrageous, let alone the way we get meat from other animals. I rather eat animals than something y'all tried to cook up in a LAB with all kinds of chemicals and what not, are you serious? We wouldn't even be nuturing our bodies, we'd just be eating "food" that has no benefits whatsoever. Get a grip, please.

It is Farmers and Ranchers job is to grow and raise our food. That is their job and how they get paid.

Because lab grown meat is the only moral way we can acquire meat of any sorts. It also has the potential to pollute way less than traditional methods of acquiring meat.

Lab-grown food sounds like a horrible idea. I live on a farm and grow cattle for beef, and I would never in my life trust meat that doesn't come from a living, eating, breathing, sentient animal.
